I heard throught the grapevine that the Black Bear, home of all that is pretentious and wrong with the culinary world, is now closed due to foreclosure of some kind. Karma sure is a bitch. When you spend all of your time lying to everyone and serving your own ego, bad things are sure to happen. I called the place, and there is a message on the machine referring to an "emergency", and that they will be open again as soon as possible. I hope with a new owner with better intentions and methods.
