Once again the Coalition Party goaded by the Small VVP party, is spreading none-truths to the residents of Justice.

In their amateurish comic book that they call a party newsletter is a picture of five plotters that appear to be grinning from ear to ear while once again mapping a scheme to defraud the residents of our village by inserting laughable and false political messages in their funny book.

They are claiming that the Wasowicz administration has obtained the "Jobs Now" Grant from the state. Even for Wasowicz and his Coalition/VVP partners, this is a morally reprehensible election time drabble.

The problem is that the mayor and his fawning supporters have not read the Desplaines Valley News of Thursday, March 14, 2013 written by James Pluta, a reporter for the paper. The article reads in part:

"Illinois' Fiscal woes jeopardize Justice street repairs"

“Illinois' ongoing fiscal crisis is imperiling the village of Justice’s plans to rebuild some of its most deteriorated infrastructure. A $2.6 million job-growth grant that had been announced four years ago may now be un-a-vailable…“We fought hard for that money to start rebuilding our streets,” Wasowicz said after a March 11 village board meeting at which he originally was going to announce the anticipated roads grant.

“But we knew nothing (a statement reminiscent of Sgt. Schultz) about it. Nobody ever told us, and when we check it out we found the money was appropriated but that the state doesn’t have the money” THE STATE DOES NOT HAVE THE MONEY!

Where have you been Kris, Krakow? The State of Illinois has not had any money for ages. The right thing to do would be to retract the false advertisement from the Coalition/VVP comic book. But it will not happen. The residents can no longer be fooled by the carrot on a string or the Coalition’s election falsehoods. We know the truth; there is no money to fix our streets…except of course 86th Av.between Archer and 71st where some of the Coalition/VVP politicians and their supporters live.

THE VILLAGE OF JUSTICE DOES NOT HAVE THE "JOBS NOW" GRANT FOR $2.6 MILLION DOLLARS TO FIX OUR STREETS. IT'S ALL POLITICAL AND ELECTION NONSENSE.

Might not want to take ethnic pot shots at a person if the town you're trying to get elected in has a large ethnic base. Classy.

Speaking of allegations that streets get done where politicians live, how's former PVP Trustee DePaola's street doing these days? He seemed to get a new street last election season.

Seems like the PVP/VIP can't give a platform, or any concrete answers on what they will do even though they've been asked repeatedly to do so on this board and elsewhere.

People might want to support you if you answered questions instead of slurring people.

Funny, no one really comes on this board besides I suspect maybe 10-15 people, some of which undoubtedly post under different names. I do not speak for the VIP but have chosen to support them. I do not know if any of their candidates actually post on here. They all should be out campaigning heavily by now. The election is only like a week and a half away. I just look at their websites, literature, and have spoken and/or know most of the candidates running from both sides. I know what I will get and what I have gotten with the Coalition. The VIP has exposed some of the propaganda put out there by Mayor Kris about non existent money for street repair as quoted above. I know the VIP wants to go forward with actual economic development in Justice, not a truck stop/hotels/hooka bars like the other side proposed. Will they succeed? I hope so. But I know how the last few years has been (water rates went up, village stickers went up, streets continue to fall apart, etc). Given I now pay more to live here, I expect my town to look better and offer me more in terms of shopping, dining, beautification, etc. than it currently does. Thus, I am giving the VIP a chance. The Coalition had their chance and have not done enough in my eyes to warrant another one. Feel free to disagree, but that is my thinking.

So you feel that two wrongs make a right? Well then, you do belong with the Coalition/VVP. And the mayor will make sure that 86th Ave

I don't think that this writer was taking an ethnic pot shot at the mayor or anyone else; the wording was made in jest to signify that the mayor is out of touch with the voters, ethnic or otherwise. This writer could have said “Where have you been Kris, Bridgeview? Or where have you been Kris, Hickory Hills? I chose Krakow because it is more distant in space and in time than the latter. But if supporters of the Coalition/VVP want to stir the ethnic pot, go ahead. Nonetheless, I do agree with the Coalition/VVP friends on one point; politicians should not have priority in anything including the fixing of the streets. Elected politicians are the servants of the people, but, they very often forget

It's not about two wrongs making a right it's about the VIP party, which is the same as the PVP party having a history of pulling the shennanigans they are so openly complaining about.

Why does one of the VIP/PVP candidates have businesses running out of their home with no business licenses on file in the village? Is that fair if other residents have to go through the process that they do not? How do you expect residents to have confidence in a group of people that do not believe the rules are the same for them?

You want our votes on promises that you can't define even though people have asked for you to do this for months.

Your candidates are not at meetings, and they don't pitch in if there isn't a paycheck or power for them to have it seems.

Your former slate have gotten roads, fences, and all sorts of favors.

So answer the question, how is it right for one of your candidates to operate two or more unlicensed businesses in town when other residents have to have licensed businesses?

Fair is fair.

So let me get this right. The state has NO money for street repairs? But the VIP is telling people they are going to get money from the state for streets. Are you clowns ever going to grow up? Vote for the green party.

They are going to do a better job lobbying for street money from the state, even though they say the state has no money for streets. The CPOJ is not only getting grants but they have saved enough money to buy more road building equipment. That is a real plan that will result in more streets getting built than the empty, nothing promises from the VIP children.

What is wrong with the Coalition/VVP. They are claiming that a poster is taking ethnic pot shots because the poster mention a city in Poland. How far are they going to take the sillness of political correctness. Are we not going to be allowed to use the word "Krakow" any more? So what do we do now, call it the "K" word.

The Coalition/VVP will go to any lengths to get votes, however, the residents are on to them. VOTE VILLAGE IMPROVEMENT PARTY ON APRIL 9.

If the Coalition is buying a used grinding machine to fix, why then are they showing a brand new VOLVO grinder in their newsletter. It just doesn't make sense.
