Only the radical mulsim should fear the truth of their agenda. If they dont like it here they can leave and go back we are not the EU and allow the radical Sheria here or a monument to 911 at groudn zero even if Obama bin laden the ground zero hero of his brother Osama bows to them.

You come here to the USA you can live with any faith or none but when you try to rame yours down on us we will not allow this. The dem-O-marxist like to call this "choice"

Muslims changed everything on 9/11 - we are only reacting to their behavior.

Just as illegal aliens have branded latinos, suicide/homicide bombers have branded Muslims.

Sorry, but perceptions will never change as long as they place demands on the feelings of Americans. 9/11 changed our world forever and Islam extremism was at it's core. Those are facts.

It will take generations, if ever, for Muslims to re-gain the world's trust. With each new terror event, that distant date becomes further & further removed from our better judgement.

Muslims do not need outside help in making the world know they are terrorists.

"Will"? "WILL"? I guess they haven't been paying attention to what has been going on for the last ten years and more. It's a done deal!

Meanwhile, Jews, Christians, women, homosexuals, atheists, et al, worry about being blown up by Muslims. So, yeah, demonization is so much worse.

The challenge for Muslums is to prove to America that Islam is truly a religion.....not the military and political movement it seems to be.

Just some perspective here, considering that this story seems to have drawn the bigots out of the woodwork:

US Civilians killed by Muslim terrorists in the 21st century: < 3000 (this includes dozens of American Muslims, by the way)
Afghan civilians killed by US soldiers: > 20,000
Iraqi civilians killed by US soldiers: > 200,000

So maybe everyone should shut up about how the Muslims are killing us. Terrorism is a legitimate threat, and al Qaeda is pure evil, but the same logic that tars all Muslims as terrorists could be used to call all Americans war criminals.

That seems fair. One Western life is worth at least 100 of the terrorists.

Okay, here is a question for you. How many of these deaths were before 9/11?

How about some numbers for civilians killed by Muslim terrorists worldwide? This isn't just a US vs Muslim terrorists thing. It's global.

@CMHRick: None. Those are for the two wars the US started in the 2000's. Also note that these are *civilian* deaths, 200000 of whom were in a country that didn't attack us. 9/11 gave America the right to invade Afghanistan. It didn't give us the right to kill 200,000 Iraqis.

@Nuke Mecca [really? come on.] I'm not quite sure. If you include Iraqi civilians in the war, it might be comparable (depending on your definition of "terrorist"). Excluding them, I'll go off the State Department's website, http://www.state.gov/s/ct/rls/crt/2007/103716... , and throw an upper bound of 15k/year for *all* terrorist attacks. But keep in mind that a) not all terrorists are Muslim and b) most of the people killed by Muslim terrorists are themselves Muslim. Moreover, global" is a ridiculous exaggeration - it's really only Western countries that are fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan. And in Western countries, less than 5000 civilians were killed in terrorist attacks during the 2000's.

But any way you slice it, Americans have killed more innocent people during the 21st century than Muslim terrorists. That's simply a fact.

Anyway, some of you should actually try meeting a Muslim.

I see them every day at work. Not the kind of people you want to break bread with; arrogant, clannish and angry.
