Is the wake located in the local Donut shop? I thought it would be easy to have it there since most cops are looking for Free Coffee and Donuts, and this is where you can find most cops?

That first comment is from a professional TROLL - pay no mind to one who has none... No matter whether you knew this guy or not - the magnitude of support was overwhelming - streets were cleaned of debris and snow at 4:30am in preparation for his funeral. THOUSANDS of police officers from near & far lined up for as far as the eye could see. You couldn't help but shed a tear... Thoughts & Prayers to his family...

Rip NCPD & Dandruff. I dont know how you put your head on a pillow at night. Buts its as they say "Only the good die young, Mike was good". I would wish you to both drop dead because your a waste of breathing space on this earth. This earth should only have room for people like Mike, you know the people who risk their lives for your safety everyday. The only reason i dont wish you to drop dead is that as ignorant as you both are...theres a remote possibility that you came from decent families or have sister, brothers, parents, wives, or kids who would either miss you or your health insurance if your bright enough to actually hold down a job. Mikes family is suffering i wouldnt wish that on anyone. But if you shoud choke on a chicken bone or have a near death disease type expierience i wouldnt feel bad. Maybe the next time your car is stuck on the side of the road, someone will plow into you & your head & shoulders could land in next Tuesday, A@#%oles!

police officers and firemen are not heros.
they are paid to work for twenty years.
Most often undereducated and abusers.

Dave do you work? Im not quite sure you have that ability. Obviously you didnt have the guts to take the police test. Im quite sure they couldnt be undereducated if they pass the the test that obviously you wouldnt even try. 20 years is right, 20 years of risking their lives for us. I dont care how you put it or what you think. You are a complete moron & whatever you say, donuts or not...The guy didnt deserve to die. Id also wish you to drop dead too but again there may be some poor soul who relies on a pathetic thing like you. JERK!

Dave you are just jealous. If cops have it so good then why didnt you join up? There are village and city departments that require a four year degree just like any other job. If cops are overpaid then whats a fair salary? How can you put a number on a job where you dont know if you'll see your family again? Bet you are pretty certain that pushing paper isnt going to give you a fatal paper cut. Cops deal with mental people, drug dealers that dont want to be cuffed, people with diseases, and they also help good citizens. Do they write tickets? of course!! Its a necesity! people drive like morons. Dave do you carry a gun at work? no because you dont need it to protect yourself and the public. Get a scanner you would be very surprised about what goes on in nassau county. Listen to Freeport Hempstead and Glen Cove on a weekend. Stop being so ignorant and give these brave people some credit.

I hate to generalize but police are not your brightest bulbs in the package.
99% have never fired their weapon while on duty.
They are government employees who sign on for the benefits.
Firefighters have my utmost respect.
Why are so many policemen the sons and daughters of retired cops?
Because its a cushy job full of graft, nepotism and
good old boy mentalities.
is a security guard a hero because he might have to
get off his butt to grab a shoplifter.
cmon get real.
