How many principals does that make that have left Leominster since Brinkley came to town? Co-incidence? I doubt it.

what are we paying her 145 thousand a year and her "deputy" 125 thousand a year for if they can not interview or find people themselves for? I mean she has to form a committee for everything. Why don't we form a committee to get rid of them~!!!

Jobs open up, people move, get more money and better conditions. Mr. Mendes is a nice guy and wish him all the best in his new job.

Binkley said "the search will begin soon to find a replacement at Fall Brook".She makes it dound so easy. I think is going to be really hard to find someone to replace Mr. Mendes. Someone positive who is willing to make a good change and is always looking out for the best for the kids. The kids repect him a lot but at the same time know that if they need help he is there. These are really bad news for a lot of parents at Fallbrook. We hope Binkley finds the right person to replace Mr. Mendes.

What an ignorant comment from someone who obviously has no idea who this great man is.
My daughter had Mr. Mendes many years ago in the 2nd grade. I have never met a more dedicated teacher who showed such enthusiasm with those kids. My daughter was always excited to go to school and would cry her eyes out if she was sick and unable to go.

His kindness has had a lasting impact on her and for that I'm thankful. Leominster's loss will definitely be a huge gain for Westborough.

Best of luck to you, Mr. Mendes and please know how much your hard work and commitment to the students of Fall Brook was much appreciated by many.

Binkley was chosen by the School Committee and the Mayor, from a list of applicants.

I agree with you - that original post is not mine. This is a person with no life using my registered name to slander many people/topics that he has no idea about.

Please don't poke fun at special needs people...You want to get a point across, use something or someone else...It's just wrong and nasty...

He resigned because of issues with the superindentent. I don't care for her or the fact that she doesn't live in the city. Its a shame Mr. Mendes had to leave the district to get away from her. my 3 kids all went to FallBrook and enjoy their time at the school.

Ditto against the "special needs" comment. That was so unnecessary and as ignorant as the original comment.

Haha. Classic triva for those who went to FB in the 70s.

My kids are both in FB and John was always top notch as VP and Principal. All of the kids respect him and like him. I'm not sure The Migg enjoyed that type of relationship with us.

Johnny will surely be missed.

To find the Best Candidate for the job one has to broaden their horizons when looking for educators and administrators.....just like Westborough did when they hired Mr. Mendes.......
