Much appreciation for a wonderful news story regarding my brother-in-law, Mike Gonsalves. This is a great tribute to someone so many have loved and who we miss each day. Thank you for running such a terrific remembrance.

My heart goes out to everyone that was in the fire and to families that have lost someone. I don't understand how Bob can be so rude obviously he has not lost someone close to him in a tragic accident. Bob, I hope someday that you are not so rude and you think about people's feelings.

Hey Bob: You can think however you want but none of us are going to put up with your classless and insensitive bashing on something that is a beautiful tribute. Not to mention your saying a memorial at the site of the fire will be a waste of land and that a shopping center should go there...COME ON!! Obviously you didn't lose anyone close to you in this tragedy-lucky for you. In the meantime, go find something else to do other than bashing those who passed away long before their time and are sadly missed everyday. Think about how your comments affect those that read them before you go to post next time. Do they need more pain than they've already experienced? I don't think so. You're OBVIOUSLY stirring the pot, which is why you came back to see responses to your post. Not the place for it dude.

I remember hearing Mike so many times during the overnight on HJY. His comments were great, music selection awesome, and made for very enjoyable listening. He has been sorely missed by me, and many loyal HJY fans.

I didn't see the comments made by "Bob", so it looks like wpri.com removed them. Good thing. From everyone's reply to his comments, it's clear he has no understanding of the tragedy us RI'ers faced, but much more importantly...the tragedy families and loves one faced, and continue to face everyday for the past 5 years.

Everybody should just IGNORE Bob. Because he sounds like the biggest idiot on Earth.
