I've heard too many stories of serious injuries and deaths from products made by companies owned by Jarden Corporation. Especially Coleman and Sunbeam.

Buyer Beware: You're much better off sleeping on a cold floor than an air bed by Coleman, which will explode on you like a stick of dynamite.

Google in "Complaints against Sunbeam." You'll find plenty of stuff. However, media seems to be covering up the exploding air beds. I had it happen to me once. Stay away from their products, unless you like living dangerously.:)

Jarden is the typical Fortune 500 company who cares about their shareholders only. The CEO there would probably poison his own grandmother for a few dollars more.

This is said indeed, what has happened to this company and our country. They sell dangerous inferior products to unsuspecting people all for the almighty bottom line.

They could have made a great movie based on the days of WC Coleman the founder.

Back to present. My friend got badly hurt from an exploding air bed. Just wanted to get his medical bills paid. He was told to F off.

I don't know much about Jarden Corporation. But from what I've been reading here and other places, they may actually be competition for Forest City Enterprises and other slumlords across the country, along with Big Box Retailers like Target.

One thing is in common: If you're a Fortune 500 Company, bet the farm the media will look the other way if your products or services are causing deaths or severe injuries.

That was certainly the case when many people died on Forest City properties and who knows how many children and babies got very ill or died from tainted Halloween candy they were selling at Target stores.

Of course if I ever need camping equipment, I'll make sure it's not from Coleman Company which is owned by Jarden.

But those with a death wish, could buy a Coleman Air Bed at Target and then sleep on it at a Forest City Enterprises property.

I'm glad Forest City is not in my area. At least that I know of. As for products made by companies related to Jarden, I will stay far away. Thanks for the heads up folks.

I heard about Forest City. Very corrupt Real Estate Developers who get bailouts all the time because of their large campaign contributions. I think their so-called Atlantic Yards project will ruin downtown Brooklyn.

Probably because there's really no more competition with the big companies with them getting bailouts all the time. When the FED reaches their 100th anniversery in 2013 we can kiss the America we know goodbye.0

It won't be long before all the unscrupulous Fortune 500 companies become like Forest City or what they're saying about this company. The media ALWAYS looks the other way and will continue to do so as long as we continue to vote in the same ol...same ol. If tens of thousands of people died from a dangerous product made by one of these companies, the media would still cover it up.

Fortune 500 companies should just call themselves the "Corporation." There's no more competition between most of them anymore, especially the oil companies.

Americans are the dumbest people in the world and far dumber than any other generation of Americans.

Now let's give Obama, Bernanke and Wall Street a big cheer and not let up until the dollar is worthless and the New World Order is complete.

Daily Horoscope for May 22

Libra

Be very careful when handling financial matters today because not everything is as straightforward as it seems. For instance, someone may tell you about a fail-safe way of making money but neglect to mention all the reasons why it's totally illegal. There could also be mistakes if you're spending money, such as being short-changed or overcharged. So watch out!
