the new tracks

I have noticed the new tracks ready to be laid.(Railroad) The ties and the rails sitting by crossings. The old looking track tractors are setting waiting to lay new track, thru West Valley. And last year as I took a short stroll by the old tracks noticed they hadn't been used in quite a while. They were very rusted over and looked as though there hadn't been any friction of any sort upon them. So why are they setting up new tracks, do they go directly to the nuclear waste dump? Are they going to transfer more in or take it out using these tracks that go less than a thousand yards from my house and are really close to other houses and the school. Or is there something more sinister going on, or is it for the pretty flowers?

Obviously you haven't heard, they will be using all of the railways in West Valley, Machias, and Ashford to bring in all the Wind Turbine pieces and parts. They will be in and out round the clock until the project is done.

Those are interesting pictures. Do you know what they are going to do to fix any of that if they are. All the washouts and such, it seems like a huge project. Another question who's making all the money off this?

FYI dont be an idiot if it were turbine parts most come from canada.and ther is not even wind laws in place yet, it is most likely to take the waste out of the dump.

...and there are several hundred train cars parked next to 242 , those are tankers, and and others further down crossing 16 look like wagon cars. Are they using the tracks to take out contaminated dirt and water or something.

Those tracks are owned ny the Department of Energy, from the WVDP (nuke site) to route 242 in Ellicottville. They are expressly for the removel of waste from WV to other sites in the US and have been used for that purpose for the last 5 years at least.
