This article shows what a dismal failure water fluoridation is. Dentists prefer to treat the water of and not the teeth of low-income folks because the former doesn't hurt their bottom line at all but gives the illusion they are doing something for our nation's poor. However, only dental therapists can fill the void. Organized dentistry with its pockets filled with corporate cash lobbies every state legislator in the country to reject the known cure for the growing epidemic of untreated tooth decay - dental therapists - because dental therapists would take money out of dentists' pockets.

It certainly looks like organized dentistry really doesn't care if children die from the consequences of untreated tooth decay because they are doing nothing viable to correct the problem - except using its power and money to create roadblocks for a solution and instead force more unnecessary, ineffective, money-wasting fluoride chemicals into everyone's bodies. This creates more income for corporations that benefit from more tooth decay but does not help any American at all.

I can't stand how shallow people are regarding teeth.
Teeth are for CHEWING FOOD. NOT impressing people. We shouldn't feel pressured into spending thousands of dollars at the dentist + modify our teeth + wear painful and annoying braces for years... all to impress others and be socially accepted.

Having crooked teeth does NOT mean they are unhealthy. It means they are NATURAL/NORMAL.
It's like calling a lean/fit/normal bodied person "unhealthy" just because he doesn't modify his body with steroids (and weights).

This mental problem originated in the USA and it has spread all over the world. This has to stop.

Try brushing your teeth. They don't have to be perfect & straight but they need to be clean.

This is sad but unfortunately true as many companies do descriminate based how a person looks since that person regardless of qualifications will eventually represent the company that hired them. However if one needs a job to acquire dentures in the first place that would be an unfortunate situation to be in and some economic safety net would be need to provide for that person first I would imagine. http://www.fosamaxclassaction.us/onj/

Even if you think you can't afford it, look into what your local dentist offers. Payment plans may be available. There are a number of options for replacing a lost tooth: http://jamesstewartdds.com/livonia-restorativ...

It is true that our dental health mirrors our overall health. Bad dental health can create a bad impression of our personality and it can also affect our overall health. So it is better to fix the dental problems as early as possible. Many cosmetic dentistry treatments are also available for lost teeth, crooked teeth, stained teeth etc. So by getting such treatments done, you can get a better look.
