Were they spotlighting? Killing with rifles? Just didn't see that info in the article. Either way kudos and keep it up. Us legal avid sportsmen appreciate the effort and would love to see and hear more!!

The 2 wetzel county poachers come as no surprise. Just getting started on a long criminal career. Both come from shitty parents who should be held responsible.

I never had poached deer, I bet it would taste terrible, be like eating it raw. Now I do like my eggs poached. I did not know your could get in trouble for poaching your deer, but what does an old city boy know.

What the hell do you care as long as they eat them? Isn't the deer overpopulated? Some people actually eat what they kill its not just for sport.

The two trophy bucks killed in wetzel county were shot and the heads cut off. Little bastards left the meat to rot.

Just wondering, do you poach a deer the same way you do an egg?

First bring water in a humongous vat to almost boiling. If the water is already boiling, lower the heat until it is no longer boiling. At this point, you can add one or two gallons of vinegar to the water, if you want. The vinegar will help the dear tenderize more easily. We use seasoned rice vinegar. Don't forget to take the skin from the deer if you don't want to get hairballs in your stomach. You're welcome, glad I could help.

Yea the deer population is overcrowded and something needs done. However, last time I checked you had to have a license to hunt and you couldn't hunt at night. Furthermore, if they had intended to kill the deer for the meat, they would not have cut the heads off of the 2 trophy bucks and left the meat there to waste. Which they did! I know one of them didn't have a license to hunt and never has. I suppose they were hunting for the meat and the 2 trophy bucks just do happened to be in the exact area they were at the exact same time, BS, they were poaching plain and simple. They have for years and I will say they will probably do it again.

No they didn't get what they deserved if they had they would be in jail. I don't care who poaches for meat. If a mans family is starving and he goes out and kills a deer to feed his family than I don't see a thing wrong with that. But to go out and shoot a buck and cut the head off is a crime and should have stricter punishments.

You back woods people eat unthinkable recipe, I would say they probably cooked the head and ate it. Thats what the head-hunters do, cook 'em and eat 'em.
