hey as long as they are gettin the druggies off the streets who cares what they do to get them. i agree if these people weren't doing anything wrong then they wouldn't have got arrested. i dont know what will help these druggies, rehab works for some and so does jail but others are just a lost cause.

West Union Police Department did not violate any law. Its Call tools of Law enforcement. Buys are made useing someone to make the buy. That person is paid for their time. And in A court trial that person can, If not A CI. be call to tell the Court what happen. A uniform Police Officer would have a hard tim trying to make the buy. A lot of Police officers from other Countys will go and work under cover. and set up stings. Hats off to anyone who is able to take these people down. If people would understand that a pill that may work for a person will not work for someone else. It can kill or cause severe reactions to someone else. I know times are bad with not a lot of money to go around and a person may revert to selling. But there are other ways to get money or help. But ther is people who don't care and will sell for the money. They don't care what will happen to the person that buys. These are the people who needs to be arrested. I am a retired Under cover Officer and I do see the full story from both sides. Just don't do it.

I agree that our town has went to hell in a handbasket and that more drugs are sold than toilet paper. But in the defense of a rehabilitated addict in this two faced town a leopard cannot change its stripes. Once you have been labeled as an addict nobody will hire you. So in order to make ends meet desperate times seek desperate measures! People can change. So next time you pass that labeled person in the store or they come apply for a job at your business give them the benefit of the doubt and acknowledge their human just like you and made mistakes just like you and every morning they put their pants on one leg at a time just like you. Hell make them feel like they got a chance and maybe just maybe they wont rob your house or steal your tractor or even sell dope to some of your family. Invite them to your church let them tell their story because not only may you help save their life but you will get to hear some true intresting details on how they got where they are and at the end of their testimony you may hear them say thank you for giving them a second chance!!

Just a heads up the f*cked up system we have here n mayberry now has a payscale of $50 for names of people who you would like to spend hard time. Amazing how our destiney lies in the hands of just anybody. Hell you may as well give em a loaded gun and pay em $50 to shoot some random person. My question is how in the hell are the paid informants not charged with some sort of drug abuse atleast? Cause you know damn well they gots to be high as hell to think they will not pay dearly for it later. You know the day after when they wake up done spent the fifty on a forty buzz done long gone and their remembering the night before and then it comes to em "Theres a collect call from an inmate @ the adams county jail and your buddy is fuckin pissed cause the guy who paid you done told on your stupid ass"!

at least there are some out there that can have a civil conversatin, thanks cellblock4.To UPCO thank you for the info,i agree with what your saying,i still don't agree on how it was done. from my understanding, they coud'nt set it up at buyers house, because it was a one room house with a bath room so they went to a house that was larger but had small children there.what if it would have went down real badand, one of the little ones got hurt or even worse.the person that told me this had a good point, the informant could have meet the person some where other than where they did beause thats child endangerment by all parties involed.would you agree.

LMK they are cops they can do whatever they want. It sucks because they got they got the whole courthouse to back up their story but its reality. Myself i have encountered a few situations where i would b ashamed to say these are the men and women who serve and protect our community. For instance if you remember years ago a lady by the name of genie purdin was murdered and they were clueless to the identity of the perpetrator. Well during that period approximately the first couple weeks i had two of our towns finest deputys approach my door inquiring about some unpaid parking tickets i had. Ha Ha! I told them i would b ashamed to think they had nothing better to do than go door to door like girl scouts coollecting $ on a $5 parking violation. Hell i know its their job but couldnt one of them collect and the other assist in finding a killer loose on the streets they are claiming to keep safe? Around these parts of town if the criminal dosent drop a picture id at the scene of the crime the case is closed, no leads.

They lost one of their best Darrin Mingee. And its not to say we still dont have any good standing officers. Honestly i think they may just need someone delegating their daily task that may just know a little bit about the streets. Kimmie is doing a great job in cleaning up the drugs but sometimes going the wrong way about doing it. As you mentioned before who the hell takes a child to a sting operation? You can bet your ass it wasnt none of his grandchildren. He must have really had a hard on for this poor cat to bring the specification along!
