Feds unveil system for speedier border crossings
Federal officials in West Texas demonstrated a pilot program Thursday that aims to shorten the time it takes to cross into the U.S. from Mexico.

The feds (CBP) have no interest in speeding up the entry lines - they only want to charge for the bullshit SENTRI program that doesn't vet foreign applicants like it does citizens with minor infractions (that would never compromise their country).
Just look at any CBP entry or inland check point - 2 people working and 6 standing around. Typical bureaucrats - no one cares, or the only important ones are them - the legal crossers or citizens get short shrift.
