The city of Pheonix has a model anti-graffiti program.
They are buying 60 more of our anti-graffiti cameras.
I did a few demo's last summer for the police dept. & Keep El Paso beautiful. Not much interest from them.
If there is anyone who is interested in catching serial graffiti bandits an onlne demo of the Flashcam-880 can be seen by doing a google search with the topic...
Flashcam-880 or anti-vandal camera
Thanks,

The rise in graffiti in the city, almost all of it with gang initials should be a wake up call to increase monitoring by polic gang specialists.

Strong prosecution of these crimes will send a signal El Paso will not tolerate this resurgence of illegal destructive activity.

Put the scunckbags on jail for at least 10 years is found guilty and i bet you that crap will stop!!! do not allow them to get out of jail if just caught till trial day. The problem is that they get caught and pay $100.00 dollars and they out hey thats easy and what make you think they wont go back out there and tag another Church or property??? That just motivate them more and the crap will never stop.

There is an abundance of untapped artistic talent that this city and several businesses around the nation could use, the real question is how to funnel these resources towards positive and productive use.

Where are the funds? The program halted due to a lack of funds. I was at Memorial Park today walking my dog and was disgusted with all the graffiti. The parks and playgrounds need cameras and 911 phone booths. Oh but wait..no funds. No funds for border protection either. Where are all the funds at? Graffiti task force to catch these thugs. While they are doing time have them clean up graffiti as well.

The citizens of El Paso must demand that graffitti vandals be sued by the city in the amount of hundreds of dollars for first time offendors, and thousands of dollars in fines for repeat offendors. Other cities are doing it-just look at San Francisco, CA. The current twenty and fifty dollars fines are a joke. When we make vandals, and their parents accountable for their crimes/sins, we'll begin to witness a decline of graffitti and other gang-related crimes.

This is an excellent example of a multi-agency response to a serious problem. Officials from the various agencies involved are to be commended for their efforts.
