The room where artist Georgia O'Keeffe lived in Canyon south of Amarillo was so tiny it held only an iron bed and a wooden fruit crate.

My late father, W.M.(Fred)Stoker was a professor, and then Dean of Education at West Texas from the late 50's until the late 80's. He loved Canyon, WT and the Palo Duro dearly. I'm very proud that Dad's groudbreaking research on Georgia O'Keeffe's life and work in Canyon was well attribued in the TX Highways article.
I'm a proud Canyon Eagle and WT Buff, now residing in Dallas. I have a sister and brother, Cindy and Brian. I encourage all to purchase the wonderful Nov magazine issue. Also,I'd love to hear from any Stoker acquaintences.
