Ellen, Marion, Ash and Slumburbs obviously are below the age of 25, just plain ignorant or both.

The West Side use to be one of the most dangerous places to go, unless you were part of the "neighborhood" and I'll just leave it at that.

This situation was obviously a domestic dispute and as you idiots must know, these types of things happen ALL OVER the state.

I lived in West St Paul for two years-it was not a bad place-especially pockets of it, especially Cafe Juliahna, the organic and solar powered coffee shop. Anyway, I love this youtube video-can't help but share it.

Right you are! Some are just so eager to blame any and every thing on "diversity," simple code for Minority folk. Heck, I am a Caucasian living on the East Side -- 15 years in a diverse neighborhood, and have noticed an interesting trait.

I have never had any problems with minority folk in the area who own their housing -- occur as decent folk with the same worries that I have. The problems have come with rental tenants of all stripes, who perhaps have no connection with the community, and engage in overtly illegal behaviors.

A reminder -- it is Dangerous to engage in stereotyping! Not only is it usually racist, it is terribly unfair to those decent folk who simply wish to live in peace. Not every minority family is a bunch of thugs!

You know what's weird?(this is facetious, by the way) how every ethnic group on this continent has at one time or the other -- even the pilgrims -- been viewed as a group of thieves and criminals.

They all have one thing in common. Poverty. Seems like poor people are more likely to be criminals, no matter what their ethnicity. Oddly, desperately poor people tend to become rioting mobs that overthrow their governments or become terrorists.

You can go way back into history -- Confucious mentioned groups of thieves. Years before Christ was born. He warned that a growing gap between rich and poor would lead to problems. Taoism is more direct -- it says if you amass great wealth, no army will be large enough to protect you.

Christ warned about leaving people in poverty.

Racism of this sort is -- at the very best -- intellectual laziness. The simplistic willingness to accept the idea that poor people are poor by choice, that they simply need to get jobs and everything will be fined.

Someone should send a busload of these folks to work at a soup kitchen for a week.

WSP ran all the decent leadership out of City Hall and the Public Safety Departments about a decade ago.

There are plenty of places around the metro now being lead by all the good folks they ran off.
Now with scrubs running the show there, the metro scum knows it's THE place to be....

Keep re-electing 'em

You not know what whites are doing in my block. Running illegal car dealership in the house where they live; they drive trucks and vans without license plates and they can get away. Their kids spent all the summer playing in the middle of the street with their dog and throwing balls to my car.

They dump garbage on the boulevard, and the poor minorities go there to pick up their garbage. The male drinks alcohol and gives alcohol to his little son. He drives when he is intoxicated and nothing happens to them. If they will live in Minneapolis, it will be another story because the cops in Minneapolis enforce laws on every body.
