IGA is locally owned and operated.... the owners have always been supportive of the youth in our area.. they even sponsored a carnival in the parking lot last summer. They are a good community minded business

You are confused because you have no understanding of basic economics. Of course a bigger store like Kroger will be cheaper because they can buy and produce in larger amounts. What you lose in price, you gain in convenience of location with IGA. Trust me, small local stores are not price gauging by charging you a little more for milk and bread.

If you had a brain you would understand why they can't sell for much less.

Krogers is outrageous! They wanted $8 for a case of pepsi. That's not even funny.

Their prices are too high and the milk does spoil really fast, way before the date. I shop at Sav a lot and Krogers, at least Kroger's gives me 20 cents back on a gallon of gas.

Probably cost you a couple dollars in gas to go to Krogers and get that 20 cents back.
