God bless my fellow brothers in uniform how may have to return.

To the civilian world, keep your comments to yourself and support these brave men and women. It is stressful enough fighting in the war and they don't need to hear any negativity from home.

Taking military pressure off gihadists in their home regions is not a good idea. Neither is a Vietnam-style escalation to prop up a corrupt regime. The only answer left is for NATO to be the harasser of the Taliban element, not the occupier of Afghanistan -- saw a cool site; Balkingpoints ; awesome satellite view of earth

Obama's escalating fascist global war scemes are lies and bull...

Like John Kerry Quoting "I voted for it, before I voted against it"...

Obama sending troops to die in Afghanistan then reversing himself and withdrawing troops... Lives that can't be replaced and whom have No Hope and No Change...

Liberalism is a Disease and a Mental Disorder.

The Party of Death, Lying, Taxes, Immorality and Greed...

Problem is, Europe wants us to foot the bill for anything military, while they can sit on some make-believe moral high horse and tell us how terrible we are.
A Lost America:
I agree. Whether folks agree with the mission or not, don't take it out on the men and women who are VOLUNTEERING to go in harm's way. I am so thankful we have them so I can sleep peacefully in my bed at night. It's been so long since there's been real war in CONUS that we have no inkling what it is like - nor do I want to find out.
To any military reading this thread, don't believe the msm. We ordinary working folks are behind you 100%. You just don't see us on the evening excuse for news because we're busy working and keeping the country going.

Did you forget that your boy Bush started an illegal war in Iraq that wasted thousands of US serviceman's lives and those of countless Iraqi civilians?

Typical revisionist history from the right wing nut.

I have a Son headed for Afghanistan again and he is proud to do so. I feel if we leave before we are successful, those who have fallen in the effort died for know reason at all. My worry is that we do not fully know what success looks like? Can someone tell me what a win in Afghanistan looks like?

I am tired of this polite war. Cameras and actions under continual scrutiny for the actions our soldiers take. It seems if we elect to go to war, then war is war. We need to stop the apologies and get the job done. I never heard Afghanistan apologies or offer to rebuild the towers they knocked down. So, we curtsy as we orchestrate our fight to do know harm, while they kill our sons there fighting for their rights to be safe. War is war boys do what you have to and come home safe.

Any time my son deploys I tell him, "This is war, your first priority is to come home alive" Shoot first and ask question later if you feel you are threatened". I have no regrets in advising him that anyone, any age can be a threat there. He already knows this, but to hear that from Mom may give him what he needs to come home alive and not be a fallen Hero. Fallen or standing we all have to support them and honor our military efforts.
Support our troops regardless of how you feel about why they were sent.

My prayers go out to your family!

It's a shame that the Liberal War hating media shows actions from the war. They think they are degrading the war...degrading the Republicans...but what they are doing is degrading the solider who VOLUNTEERED to do his civil duty! Everytime I see this it just outrages me. These people have no sense of self or national pride. These people are anti-American and want us to be inferior to others! May your son and his brother in Arms keep their heads up, stay safe, and stay the course. I, a 20-year vet, support you as well as many, many, many other Americans that CNN and MSNBC doesn't show!

Remember people like the likes of Chris Matthews thinks we (men in uniform) are the enemy!
