What a great endorsement for Hillary. I'm proud to say that I was part of the online draft for retired Gen Wesley Clark, in '04, and am now for Hillary. If anyone can and will re-establish our country's greatness in foreign and domestic policies, our constitution, our good will around the world, our peace of mind, and confidence in our government...it will be Hillary R Clinton and the intelligent, capable people she will surround herself with, when she becomes President of the United States of America!

Generally Speaking Questions for Wesley K. Clark

As a retired four-star general and former presidential candidate, you’re about to publish a memoir whose title,“A Time to Lead,” might seem to suggest you’re personally eager to lead this country. Is that an accurate reading?“A Time to Lead” is a time for America to lead. That is the intention of the title. Certainly we are having a leadership crisis. We have an administration that has lost all sense of strategic purpose in the Mideast. I am very concerned that we have lost the foundation of America’s worldwide power and influence. It has been squandered.

I, as a "white male" and retired US Army Officer will vote for Hillary. She has the brains and guts to handle any situation and plenty of experience dealing with vicious advisaries. She is tough, thoughtful, and has surrounded herself with good advisors, including Bill! She would not foolishly put 23 year old, inexperienced graduates of a school like Pat Robertson's, in positions of power. "lil bush" put over 150 of Robertson's brainwashed incompetent religious zealots in our government and they have really screwed up! Go Hillary! Sock it to them! Make them whine and cry!

Greenspan:'The Iraq war is largely about oil'
September 17, 2007
http://tinyurl.com/3aqr9j
WASHINGTON — "The Iraq war is largely about oil," former Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan says in his new book -- an assertion disputed by lawmakers and the U.S. Defense secretary.

"I'm saddened that it is politically inconvenient to acknowledge what everyone knows," Greenspan, 81, writes in "The Age of Turbulence: Adventures in a New World."

Greenspan writes that the attention given by developed nations to the political situation in the Middle East is directly tied to oil security.

"Whatever their publicized angst over Saddam Hussein's 'weapons of mass destruction,' American and British authorities were also concerned about violence in an area that harbors a resource indispensable for the functioning of the world economy," he writes.

When Bush Stole The Office, Gasoline Was $1.46 / gal

GAS WAR - an idea that WILL work

Here's the idea: Boycott Exxon / Mobil

For the rest of this year, DON'T purchase ANY gasoline from the two biggest companies (which now are one), EXXON and MOBIL. If they are not selling any gas, they will be inclined to reduce their prices. If they reduce their prices, the other companies will have to follow suit.

Nelson: Oil a factor in Iraq deployment
July 5, 2007

The Howard Government has today admitted that securing oil supplies is a factor in Australia's continued military involvement in Iraq.
Defence Minister Brendan Nelson said today oil was a factor in Australia's contribution to the unpopular war, as "energy security" and stability in the Middle East would be crucial to the nation's future.

The Shock Doctrine: Naomi Klein on the Rise of Disaster Capitalism
http://tinyurl.com/2aqdqh
September 17th, 2007
Pinochet's coup in Chile. The massacre in Tiananmen Square. The collapse of the Soviet Union. September 11th, 2001. The war on Iraq. The Asian tsunami and Hurricane Katrina. Award-winning investigative journalist Naomi Klein brings together all of these world-changing events in her new book, "The Shock Doctrine: The Rise of Disaster Capitalism." In her first national broadcast interview since the publication of "The Shock Doctrine," Klein joins us in our firehouse studio for the hour. Klein writes, "The history of the contemporary free market was written in shocks." She argues that "Some of the most infamous human rights violations of the past thirty-five years, which have tended to be viewed as sadistic acts carried out by anti-democratic regimes, were in fact either committed with the deliberate intent of terrorizing the public or actively harnessed to prepare the ground for the introduction of radical free-market reforms

Might be, because Bill Clinton promoted Clark to Supreme Allied Commander Europe! Na, Wesley won't do that, would he, sure for the position of the Secretary of Defense, in a Clinton Administration, but that will not happen, white males will come out in droves to vote against her, not to metion soccer-moms looking for a strong leader to protect their children, like a Republican.
Suppossed strong leaders--bush the puppet, are what got us to this point in time.

Now about hillary,--she and her husband seemed to rule together.

If she's elected, it's likely she will take some of his advice. I'm not saying that's good or bad, but if her healthcare plan is to take more money from hard wporking Americans to pay for the profits of this corrupt gov and healthcare system, I'd say no way.

Bush Says Aides Won't Take Oath Over DOJ Firings
http://tinyurl.com/2s84jy
March 20, 2007 · The struggle between the White House and Congress over the firings of eight U.S. attorneys intensified Tuesday. President Bush accused Democrats on Capitol Hill of playing partisan politics and said he would not allow his top aides to testify under oath about the firings.
The White House offered instead to allow presidential adviser Karl Rove, former White House counsel Harriet Miers and others to be interviewed in private by congressional committees.
Democrats quickly rejected the proposal. Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Patrick Leahy said the "testimony should be on the record and under oath." The president said that would set a bad precedent and hurt his ability to get good advice. The president called his own proposal "reasonable" and said the White House would not go along with "partisan fishing expeditions."

Report cites warnings before 9/11
http://tinyurl.com/yq882r
September 19, 2002

WASHINGTON (CNN)-- U.S. intelligence officials had several warnings that terrorists might attack the United States on its home soil -- even using airplanes as weapons -- well before the September 11, 2001 attacks, two congressional committees said in a report released Wednesday.

In 1998, U.S. intelligence had information that a group of unidentified Arabs planned to fly an explosives-laden airplane into the World Trade Center, according to a joint inquiry of the House and Senate intelligence committees.

"The FBI's New York office took no action on the information," it said.
Another alert came just a month before the attacks, the report said, when the CIA sent a message to the FAA warning of a possible hijacking "or an act of sabotage against a commercial airliner." The information was linked to a group of Pakistanis based in South America
