There are always a few from El Paso/Las Cruces and it would be really nice if this poor excuse for a newspapwer would give some recognition to the hard work and dedication to learning that these young people have put forth in their years at the various military academies. In fact, El Paso has sent more students who have graduated from the academies than almost any other city in the nation which is a good relection on our schools and their families because the requirements for admittance is more rigorous than to any top college.
