I would feel better if they would just shut it down for awhile, I have 3 kids that go there, twin 6 month olds an a 2 year old. Im scared outta my mind that my babies will get it. I called to see if I can just keep em outta school for awhile, which I know is'nt good but I'll just end up in court like that, I really think they should shut down for a few months and if they gotta make it up, so be it. Im not as worried about the school aged children suffering to much from it as I am for their baby brothers and sisters or grandmas and grandpas. I know not everyone feels that way, but I know theres gotta be someone that agrees with me.

I totally agree, I'm scared too. I have 3, two in school and 1 home. I want to leave mine home too. I wonder if there is something we can do? Especially after the 8 month old passing away tonight. It might not have been for that reason but u never know. I also send my prays out to the family.

it seems our little town is getting hit hard by reality ,that flu is bad it didnt take long to find its way here , there is also at least one confirmed case of aids in town so all teenagers need to be reminded to take extra precaution when having sex .

I also agree that the school should be closed for awhile. At least until we see if anymore children or adults have it. My son said there were several teachers absent today.

why are people so ignorant and trashy? I get on this site and laugh my ass off. Dont get me wrong I dont think that I am above anyone that is on this site. But come on its not right to talk about people that have aids Lib...... lol i almost said it! If your so smart then why dont you apply it to your life then it may not be so miserable. All the hard work you do on researching of who may have aids and who may not could be better applied to maybe cleaning your yard or helping your family or something constructive like that. But some people are just trash and will never be nothing but a waste of skin. Hell for all we know you probably have aids but you are probably to lazy to have ever even got an aids test. Tips for dealing with nosy friends

The term nosy friends' is a bit of a contradiction. True friends are not nosy; they are concerned and will do everything they can to help. They are always there for you, no matter what. Their shoulder is always available for you to cry on and they are always ready to listen to your troubles.

A nosy friend is not really a friend at all. It is surprising the number of people who class themselves as friends, but when things get bad for you all they really want is the juicy gossip. The worst things about it is that most of these nosy friends only want the gossip so they can spread it to others, and give no second thought to you and your feelings.. They seem to delight in gossiping about the misfortunes of others. They are definitely not friends.

So how do you deal with these nosy, so-called, friends? When you are stressed or upset all you want to do is talk to someone and, unfortunately, the nosy friends are all too keen to listen. Be sure of who you can trust and who you can't. Your true friends will keep whatever you tell them to themselves. Your true friends will always be there for you, no matter what time of day or what they are doing. Know who your true friends are before confiding in whoever is prepared to listen.

You probably already know who the nosy people are. They are the people who stop you in the street to ask you if you are getting a divorce? They're the ones who hardly ever speak to you when meeting the kids at school, but then suddenly ask you if your husband has left you for good.

Don't give these people any satisfaction. Simply smile and say, sorry, I must dash.' They may make assumptions, but their gossip will not have the juicy facts that they were looking for.

If these nosy people continue to discuss and gossip about your personal business then perhaps having a word with them in private might help. Tell them you don't like being talked about and you would rather they didn't ask any more questions about your personal business. If they are really your friends they will respect your wishes, but if they continue to gossip then perhaps it would be wise to avoid these people in future.

No one likes being talked about or being asked questions about their personal lives, but unfortunately some people seem to need to live their lives by delighting in the misfortune of others.

The good thing is that the bad things that happen to you usually show you just who your real friends are. Treasure these friends and ignore the other so-called friends.

People in this town are so negative. Dwelling on the negative simply contributes to its power. If you dont like somtething, change it. If you cant change it then you might want to change your attitude or that something will control you. It sounds like every body on here has faith but faith without action is dead. I think we all may be a bunch of pessimestic people. A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity; an optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty. What i am saying is that we need to be optimistic and if we want change we must take action to make a change!
