Everyone has different definitions of what flirting is. Some think it is subtle things like just smiling and laughing... it all depends on what it is.

We cannot help the fact that we are attracted to other people. That doesn't mean we aren't faithful, it just means we are human.

If by flirting you mean, texting frequently, touching, ect. then yes, I think that is wrong. You really shouldn't open up those doors if you love someone else.

Flirting can mean that you really want to see what else is out there.

Or it can be just something innocent...

Noe thats the best advise yet for the question seeker. And if your old enough to be in a relationship you should be old enough to know the answer. Just remember if you flirt and this person shows up at your home, you went way too far. When I see a good looking female I melt, I can't help this known medical problem, whats the name of this, I have no idea but it has to be a problem because everyone says its not normal. I think it would be classified as a head trama, because my wife has hit me upside the head for yrs now. HEHEHE

What is so wrong about making another person feel good about themselves?

Everyone likes attention and to have their egos reassured, even older ladies and gentlemen. It keeps the human psyche healthy.

There is so much negativity and apathy in society today toward their fellow man that it disgusts me.

Those who are offended by innocent "flirting" have self-esteem and confidence issues that should be addressed so that they see their worth to others in this world.

Too often, some want to take the fun out of life for those around them, primarily, I would speculate, because THEY are not happy and confident individuals.

Flirt away, people.

Yes but when your spouse is with the person they are flirting all the time and they text them all day. I would consider it flirting! Its not right. I would leave your spouse if they are doing this! Before flirting turns into more.

Flirting is cheating to me. Flirting to me is trying to impress someone with your charm and skills like someone has mentioned on here. You're becasically trying to impress someone. But when you're in a relationship, you should build boundaries because flirting can lead to other things, it can lead other people on and it's just not good. I don't approve of it. If I saw my boyfriend flirting and showing interest in another girl I would be outraged, what about me isn't good enough? Whether this makes me a self conscious person or not he should acknowledge that and should be aware of it at all times.

I beleive they can but if two of them have an issue with eachother this could cause a problem with the third. Unless of coarse they are all mature adults and have rules in this relationship before they enter into it. For example, Lets say I was a pimp daddy and had 2 ho's, when I put my pimp hand down on one of the ho's the other shouldn't get involved. HEHEHE

if you have to ask, you are ALREADY cheating. ie: flirting is cheating when you are flirting "seriously" with the intent for either physical or emotional connection.

im not the one flirting. My boyfriend doesnt see anything wrong with flirting. It ticks me off. I was trying to prove a point that im not the only person who considers it cheating.

He is a man and doesn't think the way you do. If it hurts the other partner then they should stop and if they don't stop maybe this isn't the person you can trust. It's like that monkey by the square, all caged up just sitting there watching people look at him, curse him, throw things at him, and heard someone threw it some meth and now it twitches every once in a while but my point is, your like a people watching that monkey when you give your partner your rules or boundries and your partner is like that monkey, feels all caged up just like if the rule thing was reversed to you, you would feel all caged up too, so my real point is to look him straight in the eye and tell him you don't like what he is doing and if he doesn't stop your going to drug him up and when he wakes up he will be sitting next to a big ugly monkey (possibly hooked on meth) up by the square.

I'll make this simple....don't do anything you would not want your partner to do. If it would make YOU uncomfortable for your partner to flirt, then you shouldn't do it, either. But, imo, flirting is sort of a mild form of emotional cheating.

You must not be in a happy relationship , if your relationship completed you , you wouldn't feel the need to give or get attention else where . Being nice is one thing being lustful is another .
