Please! Learn some grammar and punctuation! Maybe you will then be taken seriously. At least we will be able to understand your request.

First of all, Mr.Please, I would like you to note that just because someone may not have the best spelling or grammar abilities, does NOT mean that they should not be taken seriously. Einstein could barely spell his own name, or tie his own shoes, but did that make his contributions to this world any less serious? You are a complete jerk for talking down to someone that is just trying to make a small improvement in his own community. Many of my dear friends (like Kendall Farris, Jay Boss, Rocky DeClue, James McIntire, and Aaron LeGrow) devoted much of their time & resources to getting a skate park in West Plains. Maybe none of them were world-class, grammatically correct English majors, but that doesn't make their contributions any smaller or less important. If all you have to contribute is negativity, then maybe you should find something more productive to do with your own life! I applaud someone for taking the time to try to make something better in this world, and maybe you should be taking the time to do the same, instead of downing people who are trying to make positive changes. Sometimes good people with good ideas are afraid to speak up or try to make things better, and it's people like you that drive that fear. Maybe you should get off your high horse and start being a supportive member of society... It's people like you that make others feel like they have nothing to contribute, even when others probably have more positive things to contribute than you obviously do. Just because a person can't articulate as well as you, doesn't mean that you are any better than they are!

Please check your use of grammar and punctuation before criticizing the grammar of others.

It appears the OP is using a cellphone to post to this thread. That means he has limited characters as well as the pesky auto-correct.

While you are criticizing others for their lack of English writing skills on a website this young man (I assume) is actually trying to change the community for the better. Kudos to him and shame on you.

Yes! Kudos to him for trying to improve something that he is deeply passionate about. He is a better person than the grammar police here (Please), & while his punctuation may not be perfect, I second that "shame on you" for being a complete a**hole to someone that is just trying to improve our community & the reputation of all who enjoy the park & skateboarding. If the only thing you have to contribute to the issue is criticism, then kindly take your mean-spirited opinion to another forum. Moving on... The skate scene really does need some help in this town. The park has become an eye sore with a bad reputation. However, many kids that frequent the park do so with a pure enjoyment of skating. Most of them are good kids with good parents, but a small few of them have given the park a bad name. If you are interested in helping, or if you have something POSITIVE to contribute, please lend us your ideas. Not many towns this size have such a wonderful park, so please help in maintaining & bettering the one that we so thankfully have access to.

We are starting a nonprofit skate shop in WP we are currently looking at buildings near the park. Our mission is to take all profits and distribute them back to programs for the kids of WP. We are going to have skate camps during the summer and provide the youth with boards and safety equipment. Our mission is to help the youth of MO get outside and get exercise and to educate them with anti drug and alcohol awareness.

My kids don't skate, but I think that's a GREAT idea! Hope it works out!(:
