I've bought a few things from there. Probably the best selection of musical equipment outside of Springfield. I highly recommend them.

Is that store owned by a gentleman with long hair? I seem to remember a customer of mine saying something about owning a music store in WP, but it has been several years. If so, it sounds like it's working out good for him and I am glad to hear it. He always seemed like a pretty nice guy. I really should check it out sometime. I always go to Mountain Home because I know people there.

The long haired guy is jake. He owns Strings Attached. he cares about music instead of monetary gain, which is more than i can say about West Plains Music.

Thanks! I'm glad to hear that and I believe it. He frequented the business I worked at and I always thought he was a really nice guy. I am glad he's still in business.:)

I don't care for either, but Jake is disgusting and they don't have much of a selection. Just cause you get high with them doesn't mean they have a better business or are better people. God. Honestly, I would buy from the internet before going to either, but I would go to WP Music store if I didn't have the internet. Jake literally lied to my kid about the quality of a certain guitar and we over payed for it, too.

Overpaid at Jake's?? Should have had him do a price match. Most local retailers will be higher than the internet prices, but will match their prices.

WP Music had turned a 360 since Doug took over. He has made it into a nice store for once. And now he actually has people working in there that know what they are talking about.

Don't support meth heads - Go to West Plains Music. All of Jake's good vendors did, and they have never looked backed.

Rude staff. I will never go back. They also have hardly anything in there anymore. Shop online and bring the economy of Methville to its knees. That's my motto. I'm planning to move anyway in the near future. Screw it.
