I asked a friend the other day about computers. I had a question that he could not answer, so he sent me to a computer place called, "The Hub." It's pretty cool. It's located in the little strip mall near Norman Orr Office Supply on Main Street. They have computers that you can use and big tables to do your research and homework on. I could see its ideal for college kids to be able to get away and study. The W. Pl. Library's computers are usually crowded, and space is limited. I'm sure the University has the same problems. The difference is that anyone can use "The Hub's" computers. It is to my understanding the owner also builds computers to suit your needs and he seems very knowledgeable. Both he and his wife are very nice and easy going. They also have a drink bar offering tea, coffee and the like. I ordered a "banana smoothie" which was wonderful. They actually use real fruit to make the drinks. I was told they use no powders or syrups instead of real fruit. They also carry the "genesis new" line, which is like a super fruit and they will be using that, as well, to make their wonderful drinks. I was told a presentation was in place for this Friday, August 24 around 6:00 or 6:30pm to talk to those interested about the "genesis new" line. All and all, my stay was very pleasant and believe I will have them build a nice computer for me. I think I will also check out all the fruit flavors they have to offer. Give them a try. I think you will be just as pleased as I was. Thanks for listening.

It's cool that The Hub offers computers to do your work on. A lot of us can't afford one or don't have the room for one. They also have delicious drinks!! The place is such a good idea.

This "comment" was either one of the best darn reviews/critiques from a "customer" that I have ever read with total absence of any displeasure or not-so-perfect place attitude of this biz OR this is one of the VERY best marketing/advertisement campagins I have ever read. And I am in the marketing business. Article is very nicely written , very fluid and smmoth, makes me want to rush out to The HUB right now! Nice Job and hope this local business is very successful.

Dear Topix community,
I've been polling the west plains pages to see if we popped up - it appears we have. I'm normally not a contributor or consumer of this site due to the vicious rumors, but I wanted to acknowledge first, the validity of the location, and secondly, to thank the posters for their kind words. We're in the process of some big changes, and i wanted to apply a correction to the initial post. The product is galled Genesis Pure, and we will be hosting some scheduled presentations in the near future.
visit our page on facebook:: facebook.com/thehubinternetcafe
for future updates and such.

All those comments sound so fishy to me like they were pre-orchestrated IMO.

Yeah... I mean the hub is a nice enough place, but this just seems a little too coincidental.

Obviously pre-orchestrated - enough that I would go somewhere else if I was in the market for such.

IMHO, YMMV, etc

the idea of the place is nice but this post was obviously a owner posting for free advertisement which wouldnt be a big deal if they hadnt made it sound like a customer felt the need to write it then to post again to try to make it seem like them is kinda bull and they put there own bad stamp on the place in my mind!
