Thank God for Fortune Hi Tech Marketing. I'm a successful Realtor, Real Estate Investor, Electronics business owner, and I frankly don't have much time. I was approached in October of 2007 with FHTM, and was skeptical, mainly because I had tried MLM programs in the past. This seemed so much different, so I cautiously joined. In just 30 days, I was promoted and started making REAL money. I was shocked, and frankly still am, because I had never made any real money in those other companies. Thank you and God bless you to those people who started this company and have helped me and continue to help me to be successful and earn real money.

FHTMers who have already drank the kool-aid all have the same argument:
Why would these companies be associated with a scam?(because it's actually legal and they want any sales they can get?)

You're just a loser, you can't cut it, you don't understand, you won't get the Lexus (yeah right, see you in six months).

Look, I've been pitched and almost suckered until I did my research. If it can't be explained in a phone call - I mean completely explained - then it's BS. They try to get you in person and overwhelm you with $$$ signs and then get your $300 and the few immediate people you can sign up. They're very sketchy on what it takes to make money.
Sure a very few people can make money off this. In my opinion it's not worth sacrificing friendships over. Notice how bitter and defensive the FHTM defenders are. Perhaps they're starting to see the light and it hurts. Sorry, no lexus.

Funny that you mention that you are a SUCCESSFUL Realtor, Real Estate Investor, Electronics business owner, but later say you've never made any real money in the other companies.
So, how do you define successful?
Too funny.....

I was approached by someone in FHTM 6 months ago and personally know 3 people who signed up at the time. It is six months later and I am a rep too. One of the four is driving a lexus, one has done next to nothing but has recouped thir investment and little more, one did nothing and until recently was loosing money, one person in her 'downline' started working and she has just recently recouped her initial investment plus the money she put into her website. In the last month, I too recouped my investment, but the person who came in with mehas worked to gather loyal customers and earned a thousand dollars in feb on commissions from his web mall and travel sites. Not a get rich quick scheme, more like farming. the more seed you sow, and cultivate, the better the harvest.

As Paul Orberson says, doubt is a completely normal part of everyday life. Everyone Im sure, including myself, have doubted and pondered at one point or another whether this business would actually work. The key to success is persistence and determination, and failure is only what you make of it. It is only as over-powering and exists if you let it, kind of like a bully who continues if you let them. What people tend to see is the negative, what we unfortunately neglect or resist to see is the potential. All too many of us are stuck working a job we don't particularily enjoy, but continue to do so because it pays the bills. In addition to this, many of us are also living paycheck to paycheck. We have it seared into our heads that for whatever excuse, we are not capable of doing anything else but what we are doing now, and we downsize ourselves and our potential. If there is one thing that this business has taught me, it's that if you choose not to change anything you are doing now, you can never expect the results that follow to change either. The people, who take a leap of faith and take action, are the only ones who will see results and be the winners in life. It's the people who think they know it all, who are the unfortunate ones who are the people in the end left behind, wishing and continuing to make excuses for themselves. FHTM is the opportunity of a life time and everyone at the very least should have the chance to see it and make the decision for themselves!

I'm considering joining fhtm right now and I am a skeptic with everything. But in the research i've done so far it looks legit. Of course it is a NETWORK business. But go look for yourself what a true Pyramid Scheme is and if you go to a FHTM meeting and see the presentation (or watch it online). You'll quickly find out that the products in the company are legit and secure companies. Also in FHTM you don't have to reach a certain quota to get anything. They will pay you upfront on each person you recruit or any person who wants to buy any product from you. It's not something you need to be pushy about either. People can check it out if they want and take it or leave it. Also, On the Better business beauro they have a great report. I could go on...obviousy I'm pretty sure I'm going to become a rep.

I must say I completely understand why people are skeptical of this. There has been lots of similar businesses that have been unsuccessful and complete schemes. But that doesn't mean they all are bad.

I recently joined fhtm. I have not had anyone as yet to join in the 4 days, but I feel comfortable telling people about products that I use and why not try to get a friend that wants to make some funds? Bad things and good things are said about almost everything and everyone, you just have to research, and once in, be motivated to make it.

I was scammed by this business about 4 months ago. The leader above me was canned. I think he went to jail. For what he made off me he can at least what bail himself out. Very unethical business. I already turned them into my State AG. Stay Away from this SCAM!

I was approached this week by a neighbour. I was extremely skeptical and related it to Amway. My neighbour became very defensive.
The last straw for me was the end of our conversation in which she told me "You'll be sorry when I am driving my Lexus up the street."
For me, that said it all.

Bubba it sounds like you have been scammed by another company before. To make a rash judgement without the information is what makes a how did you put it "loser". This type of business with using the internet to distribute services like cell phones, dish network, vitamins, minerals, etc. is just as valid a way to work as say opening your own shop.
I have not joined Fortune but am going to be joining really soon. I may not get a lexas but I bet I will make more residual money than a so called skeptic who did his "research".
By the way no one sounds defensive that is except you.

Okay - look, "Pyramid, pyramid, pyramid.." who cares.... FHTM is legit! AMWAY was legit, Excel was legit.....why does everyone have such a bad taste in their mouths about pyramid type businesses? I don't get it. They work people! If they didn't you wouldn't see one person making money doing it. The fact is if you sit on your rump, you're not going to get anywhere - same as any other job. I just joined FHTM and I'll come back here and post my success! I'm not giving up and can't wait to prove all you nay-sayers wrong!! Peace out bitches!

I've just been approached by someone I know about getting into this business. I'm skeptical.....but I also know how much it costs to start your own business. MLM's provide an opportunity to make money without a large investment.

The problem with most MLM's is that they do high pressure/high emotional sales pitches, get you fired up about the money you can make, but don't tell you that just like anything you have to work at it every day, every week, every month.

I don't like having to depend on your family and friends to make money. That's my biggest problem with MLM's. But look at some of the successful MLM's that have been around for a long time.....you've got Avon, Mary Kay, Shaklee. No, I don't know anybody who's making tons of money at it though. But I don't know anybody who's worked their butt off, either.

I'm still on the fence on this one. I can think of a couple of other things I can do with $300 that may benefit me more since I don't really have the time to put into it.

Hey I was Skeptical also but I have a Sponsor who is The real deal He is Amish and if you think it's hard for you to work this try being him he don't have a car and he don't have a phone but he is making it work through his friends and their friends to he has his loyal customers and he made 5000.00 in march I saw the check. Anyway this is not a high pressure type of business it is simply giving someone the same opportunity you have to be your own boss and if they don't want to that's fine you simply give them the opportunity to get products and services through you. It's that simple. It's a take it or leave it kind of deal. If this makes you understand it better or you have more questions give me a call I'll come show you the presentation and answer any question you have. Contact me first through my email and mention FHTM in the subject line and I will respond giving you my phone #. Here is my email [email protected] If you want to join great if not thats ok to. Have A great day

I am only 18 yrs old and i just recently join FHTM. I think this business is great and not a scheme! The more you think about it, who wouldn like to save money and earn money on the things that you use in your everyday life?...now if you know someone that doesn't...THAN FORTUNE IS OBVIOUSLY NOT FOR THAT PERSON...I feel very confident about spreading the news and getting reps...This is a business based on teamwork. In the past two days i have signed up two new reps for me and took four more to a meeting. You all will here about me soon. My goal is to become FHTM's youngest millionaire. Watch and see

I have been in the company since February. I hit Regional with the second week of March. I put in a little bit of money own money to get rolling, but honestly I've spent money on worse things. For the $399 Canadian it took to get me in, I now have the ability to tap into the products and services of multi-million dollar empires. I don't know anywhere else where I can spend that kind of money in tap into telecom, beauty products, travel, lifestyle fitness and other great Tier 1 companies. I imagine I am like every other person out there; I will get defensive when somebody questions what I do. Think about it this way, if GE came to Fortune and said "We really like what you are doing and we want you to represent us", do you think that it's a scam? GE is the second largest company in the world, why would they want to jeopardize that with shady business? That's right, they wouldn't. All of my peers I have shown this to understand the strength of the business, I don't have to go out and chase sales every month, they are reoccurring charges that I already had in my life. I simply changed who I was buying products from and now I get to write off my services and get paid out on them (makes sense doesn't it). Since this is a home based business, the write offs are unreal (I know because I am an accountant). There is going to be skepticism on this because as people we aren't suppose to make money this way. It's like the time before Christopher Columbus set sail around the world (key word "around"). People used to believe the world was flat and that was proved to be wrong. Funny though that we take the same approach to business. We get friends, family members telling us that you can't make money this way. These are the same people that have been broke all their lives and live cheque to cheque. Of course I challenge their opinion, why wouldn't I? Pyramid? Absolutely not, those are illegal; do the research and you will find that out. MLM are 100% legit and the business style was made legal in Canada in the 70's. In reality, MLM brings in more business in to Provinces and States than any other conventional business. There is of course a catch, if you sit on you rump, you will not get paid. If people are driven to change their lifestyle, then the tools are there. I think I have heard every excuse out there, the bottom line is people are afraid of taking risks. I challenge everyone to take a chance to make a change. This business looks easy because it is easy. We are the only networking company to every be listed by Forbes (fastest 25 growing companies). The best part, we haven't even begun to see the amazing things that this company can and will do. I have read all the comments here, but not once did any one mention break away strategies to show how people can make more money than the people ahead of them. I am going to post an email here for people that are serious about the business. Contact me if you want to learn more or want to join up. I am looking for people that want to be part of a championship team. [email protected]

I just have a few things to say. Do your own research. Stop looking for excuses not to do something. Look for reasons to do it. It's not illegal! A pyramid scheme is a non-sustainable business model that involves the exchange of money primarily for enrolling other people into the scheme, usually without any product or service being delivered. The shape has nothing to do with the legality of it. Every organization is in a pyramid shape. You job is a pyramid. You have the owner, executive managers, managers, supervisors, then the employees who makes the least no matter how hard they work. Why take advice from people who are living paycheck to paycheck. You not going to ask a couch potato how to make it to the NFL. Take a risk. If you can't afford a $299 investment then you need to join the team. If you don't have the time then you need to join the team. That's why this opportunity exist. You're not going to make any money unless you do some work. The harder you work the more money you make. Don't be a lazy ass. I'm lazy too. That's why I'm in this business. I don't want to turn wrenches for the rest of my life. The BBB reports are just reports. All companies has complaint filed against them. You can't please everyone. The key is if they made an effort to get them resolved. Misinformed people spewing out such garbage is the reason most of the population is making the least and 5 percent are making the most.
