You should not take that crap, take your rental agreement to a lawyer if the case is a good one they should work pro-bono(any competent lawyer anyways), have your lawyer send him a demand letter and sue for everything plus attorney fee's.

If someone sees faulty plumbing, electrical, etc then you pick up your phone and call the city if it's a code violation or the health department if it's a safety issue. And don't say they won't do anything because the guys in charge of those divisions are not from the "good 'ol boys club" . They actually do their job and are correcting the situations, turning it over to the state if needed, and are finally starting to yank licensing. People have got to stop playing the entitled victim all of the time and start being responsible.
You have no idea what your talking about in this situation. If you read the original post which clearly you did not, Grisham illegally posted a fake eviction notice trying to pass it off as legal giving these people a certain number of days to move out and then locked the house up before that date. They went without Hot water for almost two months before they moved out because Grisham refused to fix the hot water heater after the pipes froze due to the plumbing under the house not being up to code and that it installed under the house directly on the ground which is not up to code or state regulations. Grisham Properties tried to tell the tenants that the pipes froze because they did not have natural gas heat when they had individual heaters in each room all with automatic temperature settings on them all adjusted to 72 degrees so stop trying to act like you know anything about this. It was cheaper to go with the electric heaters for this family who have small kids then to pay for Gas ( which they had no gas meter to hook up the Gas in the first place ) as well as the extra electric to run the main heater which would come to over $500 a month with the current gas prices . There also is nothing in their rental agreement which states anything about what kind of heat they had to have . Next you said something about them not paying rent which is crap because they did until they got tired of fighting Grisham to get hot water. Just to inform you there are now at least four families that this has happened to in the same Mobile home park this Winter and two of the families moved out , not just this one. Maybe you should mind your own business if all you have to contribute to a conversation is lies and Bullshit.

Speaking from experience -- RENTERS ARE PIGS- especially the ones who claim to be christians!!! I've had to clean up after them -nasty people.

A good tenant in this part of the country is few and far between. Drugs, Boos and junk from Walmart takes precedence over paying the rent.

speaking from experience -- landlords round here think their poop dont stink and their property is fit for humans,,,otherwords,,,the shacks you rent out arnt good enough for animals,,,then we have the fact most of you local slumlords are getting rich from the goverment,,,called hud,,,then we have the fact,,,one night and only a few hours and the right tools,,,one person could close down all your rental properties,,,make the money come out of your pocket,,,no rent from renters,,,or could go down south aways and bring back so many squaters the law coudnt handle them,,,no rent paid there either,,,cuz illegals have more rights then slumlords in any state,,,town,,,city,,,would you like the grave digger make the call that west plains is wide open?,,,ha haa haaa,,,that freight line is wide open on the choo choo train,,,,so let the grave digger know you slumlord pig,,,

Makes no difference do what ever makes you feel better but nothing will change. Grisham is part of the click that rule West Plains. They and select others control just about everything in town and each look after each other. They control the city, the local courts, most all the businesses, and until their grip is broken nothing will change. They hold all the cards and things are just the way they like it.

dont you know the reason this goes on round here and has for yrs?,,,cuz when the people get ripped off they dont think there is anything that can be done,,,but to bad for the slumlords and bullies,,,the people can file a complaint on their computer at home thanks to the internet,,,complain to the better buisness dept about bad buisnesses,,,the nurse and doctors dept who will pull their licence,,,the lawyers bar dept,,,who will pull their licence,,,the justice dept,,,who will pull the bad cop off the job,,,so many forms all at your fingertip,,,just be patient when you file a complaint,,,and if the idiots harass you about filing one,,,their complaint goes to the top of the list,,,cuz thee complaint forms show you how to report harrassments also,,,so everybody who has been suffering from a bully,,,look up the right dept and file a complaint,,,and if you dont know what dept to file with,,,call their 800 number they give and them folks will tell you what the right dept is,,,so suffer no more me freinds,,,suffer no more,,,

You got one thing right slumlords count on people not having the resolve to follow through with and fully exercise there rights. Nor do they usually have the time and patience to properly document and collect evidence to support there position.

The Grishams are not good landlords. They don't fix much and it takes forever if they do. They go in you house when you are gone and go through your things. That's what many say who hVe rented in the past from them. They never had a house I'd rent before I bought a house. There are other people to rent from. Not Silveys either!

grisham fixes it up long enough to make it look good the maintance man screws all the single women with a women at home. the same thing happen to a girl that was prego and the pipes did the same thing suddenly they walk in without permission the maintance man thinks that he can legally because he has a set of keys for all the homes he maintains so they charged her and said she did not pay her rent and she did they had the city come out and tore the whole yard to pieaces another women an excellent renter had her paycheck stolen from her trailer grisham still evited her regardless. as far as HUD these slump lords do not like them because they are looking out for the tenant so they do not have to dealwith leaky roofs, floor that are alling through gas furnace that do not work an are to old to be in use. need I say more oh and get this write it down they even raise the price of rent around town and the other landlords are following suit scraping HUD and the tenant because a landlord will make deals just because the ca squeeze a little extra.oh he hato spend one million so that the state would not take it that's how a take over of apartments happened. and he bought property like madd.
