Looking for thoughts and recommendations on who to take our indoor pets to for medical care. If anyone knows anything about the vet across from the civic center?

Less expensive, but for a reason. West Plains Vet Clinic (past Walmart on the left ... Dr. Burden & Dr. Green). Awesome care at a reasonable price!!!

I agree. I love West Plains Vet. Have used them since moving here. Great docs!

I wouldn't say we have great vets in this town. They are mediocre at best. I've gone in a couple of times and they couldn't figure out what was wrong with cats. However...Dr. Green is probably the most competent of the ones that I've dealt with. Does Dr. Scott still work out there? I thought she was good until the last time that I used her. I wouldn't let Burden touch my pets. Time for retirement buddy boy.

Does anyone know where Dr. Scott went to at West Plains Vet. She allway treated our pets so nice. When she would see me in town she would always ask about our animals by name. I agree with Jerry, Burden needs to go. No compassion just grabbed our dog gave it a shot. Dr Scott and Green talk to the animals, almost feeling sorry about what they just did. They truelly love animals.

Yes, Doc Burden is getting older, but has always been very sweet to my animals. I had a sick dog a couple years ago, and he is the one that figured out the problem. Turned out to be black walnut poisoning! IDK where Doc Scott went??? Didn't even know she left ... hope not! I must say that a few of the receptionists could use a lesson in customer courtesy tho.

The woman that works at the one across from the Civic Center could sure use some of that customer curtesy too.

A couple of months ago I was told by another vet that she was going to start her own vet clinic.

Grow a spine. Hit the sick mutt or stray in the head with a rock. Get a new dog or cat. Much cheaper.

Thanks for your input but my pet isn't sick. Would like for him to have a rabies shot and would like to become familiar with a vet in case he needs anything else. Thanks for taking time out to chime in but I think I'll pay the few dollars.
