The food was pretty good, however the service was terrible. Our waitress was a girl named Glenda, and she was crabby and acted like she didn't care about her tables! One of the worst waitresses I've ever had.
While back here visiting I went there and ate and the food was ok but the waitress sucked. I also had a waitress named Glenda and she has got to be the worst waitress I have ever had. I am assuming that we had the same Glenda for a waitress. It looks to me like they got rid of the wrong waitresses. This woman needs to go.

I happen to know that u have to have good employees to run a business sometimes people just don't work out. Maybe that's why so many people let go! You expect good service don't u? As far as a limited menu if the food is good and price is good who cares!!

This is Gordon Ramsay. Thank You! Thank You! now please have a seat. I would like to explain to you draft beer serving potatoe chip serving small town American overweight people how to run a good buisness. First you have to count on and trust your employee's. After looking around here you need to check your waitresses for bruises from abuse from their abusive man is man thinking husbands and give every employee a lie detector test along with a drug screen and police back ground check. When you find an employee who passes all of these check points get rid of them straight away. They are freaks and you know damn well arn't from around here. Secondly you have to yell loud at these employee's because they work for you and thats what I do on all my many Kitchen shows like Hell's Kitchen and Master Chef and Kitchen Nightmares. Thank You! Thirdly you have to check the employee's pockets after every shift for food scraps. They will smuggle food out of your bottom line and put you in the red. Now at this point I will need to see that cute little blond waitres in the back storage room for a one on one. And when I come back this whole kitchen needs to be cleaned spotless you little piss ants.

Don't you pay more than $5 at the El Charos? They can't be any worse at the non-Spanish speaking place!

If you want GOOD food with your booze, go to Ruby Tuesday, Colton's, or TJs. Roper's is so so. Hibby's food is mediocre at best. It is a place to get a drink, and the mixes aren't so great, or to get a beer, and how can they mess up a beer. It is a place to socialize and enjoy a routine with a drink. Expecting an independent startup to have acceptable food or a good training program for servers, NO, not going to happen. It is what it is. Enjoy something different while it lasts, they probably won't be around in a year.

re with your post excepts GOOD food doesn't ever seem to happen @ TJ's, but HIBBY'S will be around for many years, unless something much better opens... They are a sports bar serving food under $7.00 unlike RTues or Coltons where $20.00 gets you a meal and $30.00 @ Ropers.

Problem is... the majority of people who are NOW going to Hibby's are there to get drunk. Those who want a good meal with a drink WILL pay more to get it elsewhere. The biggest problem I see for Hibby's is that they are quickly reaching bar status... not sports bar & grill... just another WP bar with the WP drama. If they don't get that resolved they will be left with the town bar hoppers and will go under just like every other bar has in this town for as long as I can remember.

Since you may only be going in after 9pm, when most families are @ home, go there before. Lunch is good, and the evenings are also busy. They serve food until they close, so the even though the late evening does seem to get a few power drinkers in. But Hibby's closes early, so they leave soon enough.

How much more "drama" can you have than Coltons where when the owner is not drunk on his azz, screaming rants @ his employees, or gone away on another rehab admission, but they stay very busy?

Assuming you mean Primas closing its business on Porter Wag, it was high rent and terrible food that doomed its fate...The joint out Hwy 14 was never intended to be a restaurant, just a bar poorly run after the wifes owner did her infidelity...Fillies owner wanted to sell more drugs than booze, so it failed...Remix just a bar that allows minors in, so adults who actually spend the money to keep them in business, quit going... What other resturants closed down that served alcohol?
