I'm sorta new to town and am looking for a good mechanic. I know from experience how problematic running into the wrong one is. I do drive imports, Honda and Subaru, so please take that into consideration. Can you point me in the right direction, and more importantly, tell me where to avoid?

Garys tire? Yeah, right.

It really sucks in West Plains that we don't have decent mechanics. I take my stuff to Wehr.

Most everyone is trained by the "I've been doing this for years" school.

It could have been worse I guess, you could haved said Haneys....

Best tire shops...Wilbanks and Tony's Tire.I have taken my vehicles to Mayfield's for 15 years and they have never screwed anything up yet. Yes, it costs a little more, but you getter a better job and that is what counts.

Compared to other place around town, Garry's Tire does decent work, however the price you will pay there is not worth going to them. I don't know if Mr. Dent works on vehicles other then the wrecked ones, but they did a really good job on my engine after my wreck and the body work is the best around.

Gary's Tire is a wonderful place to have your car worked on. Unlike some other garages in town, they don't take advantage of old people and women. They are honest folks as well. You don't have to be a native to be reliable, you know.
