Hair Gallary

Does anyone know what happened to the hair gallary? Did they move or just close down?

cris owned the business, but didn't own the building, she just decided that she didn't want to have her own business anymore so she went to work at illusions, another salon here in town. terri still owns the building, but isn't doing anything with it as far as i know. as for the other girls who worked for cris, i'm not sure where they went.

Which is the best place in WP to get my hair cut? I was going to the same girl in NJ for 15 years. I have long straight hair and the cut is pretty simple but anything can be messed up in the hands of the wrong person.

I like Appearances in the same little strip mall by Mommy and Me. They only charge $6.00 like the Hair House but I like the hairdressers better. They are good at what they do. Consistent might be a good word.

Go to Koaren at Studio 21. She is THE best around. She goes to seminars to learn new techniques and she is not afraid to do edgy, new cuts! She is the best.

I know this, after going here and there for years and always ending up with ho-hum, boring hair.

Ten years ago I wanted a swing bob. No one really knew what it was! I would walk away with a blunt cut, boring bob.....the I found Karen!

She can funk you up, or simply give you a trim, but she is darn excellent!

I totally agree...Karen is THE BEST I have been going to her since she came back from Springfield. She will do what she thinks is the best for you OR she will do exactly what you ask her to do. She is also excellent with color. But be prepared to wait a couple of weeks or so before you can get in. She is really busy and she only works Wed-Fri. Studio 21 is right behind Sherwin Williams.

I think the Hair Em is a really great place. They have very friendly people and they do a great job. They are next to L.A Nails. You will be very satisfied.

Thanks very much! I may be going up to NJ to visit in a couple of weeks and if so I'll go back to my regular place, but if not I'll have to go somewhere local fairly soon. I appreciate the referrals!

Who says you can't do both "Nora"? Its a known fact that professional people who work for a living have to stay groomed.
I suppose we should stop going to the dentist and buying deodorant because it's a waste of money?? Come on, not everyone likes or looks good in long, straight stringy hair. I don't consider going to the salon for a haircut a waste of money. It's my money I'm wasting anyway! And that's none of your concern! I have long hair, FYI, but it needs to be trimmed a couple of times a year. We each have our priorities in life. You can donate to any charity you please, have no children or ten, wear your hair any way you like.
