I heard a sound like thunder. Soon a bunch of emergency vehicles were all over. Airevac landed in the parking lot of the little strip mall. There was reportedly a woman thrown from the vehicle in some people's yard. I pray everyone is ok. Does anyone know anymore about it?

A vehicle lost control due to trying to miss an animal, I believe they were both air evac to Springfield aside from minor injuries they are both home resting, it happened in front of my grandmother's house. They are both friends of the family.

I heard they were going 70 or so. Intoxicated. It was what someone said. I don't know if they know for sure. I haven't seen any news on it as I haven't had time to look for it. I didn't get a newspaper.

I didn't say you did. I made a common sense statement.

But since you where so big to defend the crazy wreckless people whom put others lives in danger.....read the quill and the traffic report. 60 mph in a 35 mph passing another vehicle on a residential street! No animal was involved thats a lame excuse.

No they didn't. I watched them. If led twice to land in the parking lot that Dennis' Specialty Cuts is located! Dummy, it would've messed the road up and probably the helicopter would've crashed!

Evidently you have no idea what your talking about..... It landed in the middle of the ROAD. There's even pictures of it landed on the road. Why don't you know facts before you speak. That's what's wrong with the world this days. People run their mouth without having a clue of what's going on...

They lost control from loose gravel in the road when they was trying to miss a dog. They r fine for those concerned and they may have been speeding but not like ppl r saying...if the city would sweep the rd this probably wouldn't have happened. Passenger was thrown out back k door and driver wad knocked out. And passenger was in the road not a yard. And air evac landed in the middle of the rd Harlin and preacher roe ...their speed was bout 45 maybe 50 ,but they cops drive way faster for no reason and no lights or sirens which happened less than 2 mins before wreck if he was speeding one of the 4 cops N the 3 block radias would have pulled him overand he was not drinking!! I was face to face and one of the first on the scene. But like I said they r both ok. This is a place where ppl just say what they want but I was there and know them, hope this HP ppl who r Truley concerned...may prayers b with tbem

amen truth lol those helicopters land in the streets ALL THE TIME! H eck have you looked at the parking lot of that shopping center with all of those light poles? And that idiot thinks they could have crashed landing in the street?!!? Besides is he going to call the pilot and med crews liars? Because I personally commend the pilot on his landing in the road! People need to keep it to themselves if they dont know.

Maybe you should ask that driver you personally know why he was sited for careless and wreckless driving?

Going off of FACTS: "Reckless driving refers to driving with a wilful or wanton disregard for safety" LOOK IT UP

FACT: The police department/highway patrol and insurance companies will "reconstruct" the accident sight looking at the point where skidding started to where skidding stopped, where the vehicle hit/stopped and the extent of damage to the vehical ie extent of intrusion ect......where the patient landed- how far from the wreckage ect..........LOTS of factors go into determining the FACTS that took place. You can't argue with scientific and mathmatical FACTS verses the lame ass story your friend wants the public to believe

And talking about facts I've been a Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Technician for more than ten years trained to respond and care for trauma patients just like the ones from this wreck. You want me to believe your story?

Think not my friend I'll stick to the PROVEN FACTS.

Eye witnesses accounts are that they were flying up Preacher Roe from Walmart, passed on the right running one vehicle to the left. Police clocked him going 68 mph! No dog! Get you facts straight! He was drunk and/or high!

45 or 50mph is still speeding and therefore breaking the law. Any police officer or emergency vehicle may legally exceed the posted speed limit during the course of their duty. This excuse in regards to your friends is irrelevant as they are not emergency personnel. Citizens are allowed no special privileges and must follow the posted speed. This is why they are set in place. Perhaps your friends should relax and slow down. We only get one life and have no right to put others at risk in order to save one or two minutes of our time. Nothing is worth that.
