Oh please this has to be a joke. Their food is GREAT eat there about three times a week. I just love how so so so many people complain about not having something in this town ( Italian for instense) and then once we get it You complain and complain about the restaurant. PATHETIC! Dont listen to this dim wit Napoli's is great, great food great service and great enviorment. I have been served by four wonderful waitresses so far, Sara, Ericka, Tiffani, and Shelby and ALWAYS order something different and everything has been GREAT!!

Oh and the owner always tries to come out to the register to see how everything was. This is how restaurants should treat there customers, which is with communication. They talk to you as if they know you, and are always ready to fix ANY problems you have.

The owner decided to close up on us employees 7/7/12 without a warning and also without telling us. Packed up everything in a Uhaul and left. Leaving us all unemployed.

First, it is HATLEY'S FROZEN CUSTARD. Second, the Hatley's gave their employees and customers several weeks warning. They are paying all of their bills and only closing so they don't dig themselves into debt any further. They are not skipping town. He will go back to his welding business and she has had a very good job for several years.
You can't compare the Hatley family to what this guy at Napoli's did. I feel soooo sorry for the employees who suddenly no longer have a job.

First of all, none of your business. Any financial debts that may or may not exist between myself and the owner of Napoli's are personal. Secondly, I am going to give you a little lesson in the restaraunt business. When someone pulls up stakes and disappears to another state, without telling his staff, they are doing that because the creditors are closing in and they don't want their unemployment insurance to take a hit. See, unemployment insurance is paid by every business with employees to the state where the individual business is located. When someone goes out of business, it goes up the chain of governement and then makes it harder for that business owner to be granted a licence if and when they ever try to get back into the business world. You know what we call restrantuers who pull up stakes overnight and dissappear? Something nasty. See, these people feel like they can quickly set up shop in another state, get new employees at minimum or below minimum, and pay off the creditors, all without meeting their responsibilities to the employees they just screwed. The thing is, Napoli's didn't fail because of demographics. This area is perfect for an Italian restaurant. Restaurants fail because of one simple thing.....the owner. If you can figure out why, I will give you a gold star.

You are absolutely correct. There are also many businesses and contractors who will either do the same thing or simply file for a new business name and continue to do business in the same town. They not only avoid the unemployment tax going up but they are able to hide a bad reputation or get out of paying creditors. I hope you get the money that is owed to you.
