Everyone should go eat there today! I don't want to see it go! I love suds inn. They have a lot of deals. Save them. They have chz burgers for $1.09 and double chz burgers for $1.39 and fountain drinks are half off between 2-5.

I think when Invensys changed their shift hours that really hurt Suds. I'm sure it also didn't help them any when Amyx shut down and the factories cut their workforce. For decades Suds Inn and Dairy Princess were the only fast food places that were able to service the factories that only allow a 30 minute lunch. They do have yummy food and for some reason I never think to eat there. However I will be headed there today and tomorrow. A pizza burger sounds soooo good right now.

sad days for old business

All the factories in that area have closed. Money is super tight. The first thing people do is stop eating out to save money. They may have no hope in this economy, looks like the economy will remain weak for a long time.

catch 22

Sometimes its a catch 22. The longer they try to hang on the further in the whole a business owner can get. Its a business decisions. Is there hope on the horizon in this recession? not likely, but i guess you can always hope.

Their prices are higher than most fast food places so its harder for families to eat there. You also don't get as much for your money.

Personally I don't know how the owners can feel good about themselves.. All their doing is begging! The nerve of some people, they will do anything & it looks like this person is one of those people! They should do like the rest of us have to do when we start going under, sale it, auction it off or file bankruptcy!! I'd rather do that then beg!!!

They didn't beg for anything. People working at the Quill read this forum and caught wind of what was going on. THE QUILL contacted the owners of Suds for the article.

Suds started crying when they saw Taco Hut getting all that love. It's really not fair to other struggling businesses to give them free publicity. The longer they drag out the inevitable, the more life they suck out of Dairy Princess. Kill the Suds and Dairy Princess might last.

Well suds is way better than dairy princess and I would love for it to stay open. I'm just a loyal customer that would hate to see it go. I'm not begging at all and neither are the owners. They simply say what's on sell and what's happening and then its your decision to go or not.

There's no such thing as bad publicity where business is concerned. The posters who are maligning this business are helping keep the Topic on the top of the list so even they are doing their share.

Have to admit that in four years of living here, we've never thought to visit Suds 'N. I'm not keen on eating in my car as we usually have our pups with us and they pester like crazy, and didn't realize they had indoor seating until I read it in the Quill.

We've been there a couple of times in the last week (left the pups in the car) and found the staff pleasant, the food good and the prices reasonable.
