Okay, so I'm looking for land to buy. I'm needing at least 5 acres. Anything up to 20 acres really. It needs to be within the city limits but cannot be commercial land. It has to be for the possibility of building a house. Anyone have land on Rhonda they want to sell??

Have you ever heard of a realtor open on a Sunday? Or Saturday, for that matter? Exactly! And according to research, it would only cost around $10K for 5 acres in the city (not commercial).

Real estate websites. Listings. I've been looking for days and that is the "typical" number. Like I said. I said NOT commercial land. I'm looking for LAND. Like farm land. Farmers who are sectioning off their land but are still within city limits.

I don't know what sites you have been looking at but you are NOT going to even be able to buy 5 let alone 20 acres of land within the city limits. Especially to farm on. You think they want cows running around on Rhonda Drive? Any acreage in town is only going to be sold to and financed to an established builder in WP. Most real estate companys are selling lots, not acres. There is land outside of the city limits but still in the WP school district. We have 60 acres of the crappiest land you ever saw and it appraises for $5000 acre. If you want land at $2000 acre you are going to be going a ways out of the city limits.
