I use to work there, and a horrible lie was told about me after I left. So bad I'm still contemplating a law suit! FYI I seriously doubt its just "one" assistant

They are AWFUL there! I forgot my kid's mc+ card and they wouldn't see me until I got the number! I would recommend going to an ENT in Springfield....

Does these people not realize gossip, and being nosy, regarding any patient is a federal offense?

Sorry but if I had a problem with an office I'd think I'd call the manager instead of posting crap on the Internet. Seems more appropriate and mature to me!!

If anyone has a problem, contact the office manager. She is very nice, and will assist you in anyway she can. This crap website is not the way to handle anything! I know most all that work there, so it sounds like you obviously have some kind of vendetta against one of them. Call and ask for the office manager if you have an honest complaint, or proof of wrong doing. And in the mean time, grow the hell up.

Hey, I DID talk to the office manager! Nothing was done, and I was treated just as rudely by her! This is a forum, and we are venting. Your world isn't going to end to read what is posted here. If you don't like it, don't read it! It's that simple!

It sounds to me that you people need to find somethin to occupy your time instead of downing people that go to school for years to help people that are sick. if you have a problem, go to the manager. if that doesnt work, go to someone of higher authority. its that simple. And as for the assistant that gossips, i use to work there and although i didnt get along with some of the staff, they are the most professional clinc ive worked at. they dont talk about old employees and most importantly not about the patients. they can get fired for that and why would they risk it when they have families to feed and finding a job is so hard right now. As far as the Medicaid card, they do that for you. If your not active when you are seen you get stuck with a big bill, therefore running your number to make sure you are active before you are seen, saves you a lot of money.

I won't go there because they, unlike any other doctor's office ever, will charge you the copay your private insurance charges, even though your child has MC + as secondary insurance. Is it legal? Yes. Obviously, my child is on MC+ because I qualify. I am working a full time job and at least I do have primary insurance. What makes them think I can afford the office visit copay for a specialist if I qualify for MC+?

They even told me another doctor's office was going to start doing the same thing. I called that office up and asked thier accounts manager. Her response was "glad they are telling people what we are going to do when we don't even know about it".

A child on mc+/medicaid, has NO copay! Adults on medicaid,or adult females on Missouri HealthNet do have a $2.00 copay, but children DO NOT!

You need to call the 800 # on the back of your child's card, and tell them about this deal!

if anyone has proof that patient information has been released to ANYONE that does not have specific authorization to have that info than it is a strict violation of the HIPPA laws and punishable in a court of law.
My advise is NOT to phone the office manager. If you will look online you will find the correct numbers to reach your Att. Generals office and also phone DFS and they can put you in touch with the correct authorities for an investigation.
I strongly advise anyone that overhears any office personel in ANY office discussing details abt a patient to pls file a formal complaint with the correct authorities...YOUR business is YOUR business, not the whole world!

My daughter has been treated there several times and I have to say that the doc himself is very rude! She was 3 when he first seen her and told her that if she didn't hold still while he cauterized her nose she had to leave. What kind of doc treats lil ones so meanly!? Especially when he's burning the hell out of her nose!!! That would be painful to an adult let alone a child. After all the attitude from both caregivers I have decided not to return. Everyone has to make there own decisions but knowing how others have been treated helps to make a more informed decision. I sure wish I would have known what kind of ppl they were before hand because I would have NEVER taken my child there.

This Dr is very rude, he was hateful to my child during a painful procedure as well. Haven't and won't go back! And FYI thank you for that info. I know that nurses at urgent care have ran their mouth about a patient, and nurses at omc. Thank you very much!

It is legal and is the law to pay your insurance co pay even if u have mc+ secondary. Call and ask them. His office is doing no wrong. And further more he is a specialist not a pediatrician. He is there to make your kid better...not baby them. Thats why he is a specialist...he is there to fix a specific problem and send you on your way.
