[seeking childcare]

Im looking for a daycare in WP! I want to the pros and cons of some of the daycares in WP (Little Red Firehouse, Tadpoles,Little Angels, Learning Tree, Wonderlan)!! I have heard so many different things about the daycares, and trying to find out what I can on them!

I'm not sure really, I know the Learning Tree has been around forever. Thats where I went in 1981-1983. The same lady still owns it if I'm not mistaken. But I could be.

The Learning Tree is by far the best and most professional daycare in this area.

A lot of women find a church with a daycare.

Friendship Circle is also very good!
My daughter went there and loved it so much.
But it was only half day. I'm not sure if they have all day programs or not.

I looovvve Leaps and Bounds, Mrs. Wemdi is awesome, the kids love her and its not too small but not to big

my sister owns leaps and bounds and shes been in the business forever. shes the cheapest in town. and she knows exactly what its like to be a single mom

There is not a good daycare in this town! The best thing i found was an older lady that had nothing better to do than sit and rock my baby all day long! She and her husband r the best people in the world and love children to death. Good luck on finding that perfect place. If you are thinking bout leaps and bounds PLEASE DO LOTS OF CHECKING around and talk to some of her ex-employees and people that have pulled their children from there.

Check out Circus Circus I went there as a kid and now my kids go there I absolutely would not go anywhere else! Same people that worked there when I was a kid are still there. They truly love the kids and make sure they are taken care of.

I would recommend Learning Tree. They have more of a daycare/learning center then just "babysitting" like some others mentioned on here

my daughter goes to littl red firehouse daycare and preschool and she loves and i love it she's only 2 and has came home singing so many songs and wnating to play different games every day and that just show me that that they are learning and having fun and that she truly is getting to inact with others rather than just sit around and watch tv at other babysitting places. miss pam and all the teachers are soo sweet and will take time to talk to you about anything you ever need. I think you should personally go in and talk to every daycare and see the set up for yourself cause as a mother you will get the mother gut feeling if you don't think the place is right for your child.

When my chldren were in daycare, I loved (and so did they) Little Red Firehouse. They learned alot too. They were very ready to start Kindergarten when it was time.

They happen to be "X" employee's because they didn't meet Miss Wendi's standards! Those employee's didn't seem to understand that they shouldn't be texting or talking on their cell phones while watching children! Leaps and Bounds is an exceptional daycare center that provides preschool ciriculum for the children. Wendi has put alot of time in her training and has a heart of gold. I feel exceptionally lucky to know my children have been impacted by her willingness and love to perform for the welfare of my kids! I promise, you would never be sorry for placing your children in her care.

Wendi is the one that was on the phone all the time. They only left because they were the ones always doing the work. i have heard stories about this daycare. i would not place my children in her care!!!

Little Red Firehouse is awesome. Pam is wonderful with the children as are all of the teachers there. Highly reccomend it. :)

I am a licensed and insured in home family daycare provider. My daycare is From Bottles to Buses Daycare. My oldest son went to Learning Tree for many years and loved it...it is a good facility and all of us that are licensed are held to certain high standards and are inspected on a monthly basis. We undergo rigorous background checks as well as numerous inspections. I personally would not let my child go somewhere that is not a licensed individual or facility, but that is just me. where are you located? i am looking for somewhere to take my 3 young children but im scared they have never went to a daycare.
