Are there any good places to fish close to West Plains?

yea go out like ur going to thomasville but when u get to 17 highway turn left a the juction hill theres a gravel road right across the road red brick house on corner go down that road for about 8 miles dont turn off on it u will come up to a lake on the right its down in a field. Has a gravel parkin lot in front of it. I pulled a 10 bl bass out of there last year.

Please tell me you took a picture of that fish because i have my doubts you pulled a 10 pounder out of there.

I'd like to see a pic of that too...been there several times and never any luck....only rumors of those with good luck there.

The best fishing on Norfok Lake is in Udall. The white bass are running and they are catching walleye!

I went to Sims lake yesterday but didn't catch a single thing. Anyone ever have luck there?

I always catch small perch out at Sims lake. My wife caugh a small channel cat out there also. haven't been yet this year.

Try cabool lake lottahocky, u can catch something there.

I watched an old man pull a couple large bass out of the lake up 17 you all are talking about. He was just using a large hook and plastic worms.

The lake on 17 stay away! That's my whole. Lots of bluegill but there is some nice bass throw them back if you get them. Anyone ever see that big old carp swimming around he's like 40 or more lbs. I been trying to get him for two years just to get a pic. And as far as the big bass I know there there I got several around 6 and I do got pics.
