Allan West was in Boca Raton May 29th campaigning in what he cloaked as a town hall forum. What did not make this a town hall forum was the fact that West's campaign seems oblivious to the meaning of the term town hall. Typically public officials respond to and hear from their constituents on a variety of subjects and interests. In an Allen West town hall if he does not want to answer the question he cries fowl and calls out his security team to remove his constituents who pose questions at him that he does not want to answer.

This was the case when he was asked by one young constituent about his stance on gay marriage. The question was posed as equality and its direct correlation to gay marriage and the right for all individuals to pursue this liberty. West responded by saying "he does not support gay marriage, its between a man and a woman and take it up with 41 other states who think the same." West avoided the equality issue all together and leaned on the right wing theory that equality is only between a one man and one woman.

The constituent, Heather Frazier from Wellington persisted in trying to circle back to the equality issue when Allen West summoned his security to literally get in the 5'3 tall Frazier's face and tell her to leave "she was done". Frazier was in the audience with her mother Debbie Frazier, who held up pink slips with a small list Allen Wests votes and failures as a representative within the community. West could not help himself and read the list out loud mocking the pink slip.

The problem was as West read the list his mocking showed his absolute and complete lack of compassion toward his community. After all this is the guy who attributed being gay to " gay is a choice similar to picking a flavor of ice cream" . Lets not forget West has "personal" experience with gays, as he commented about sexual behavior, implying that he's seen people from Atlanta who easily overcame their “…wretched gayness.”
“People can change their sexual behavior," West said.“And I've seen people do that. I grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, so I've seen a very different perspective on human behaviors. So that's where I'm coming from on that.”

That's where Allen West comes from, but he would not allow young Heather Frazier to express where she comes from, being a child raised by a gay mother and realizing that society is not equal and fair to the gay community. It took guts to go up against a bully like Allen West, who in fact is not afraid to muscle out someone with his posse of security because they have a "different view". After all bully is his claim to fame, he likes to intimidate like when he shot a gun near an insurgent’s head in Iraq in an effort to intimidate him, a bone-headed act that led the Army to relieve him of his command and consider court-marshaling him. Intimidation in Boca Raton and Iraq, do we see a pattern here? Good thing he didn't have a gun on him huh?

I was there. West is a disgusting, judgmental, ignorant bully, bought and paid for by the Koch Brothers puppeteers to promote billionaire self interests. Anyone who thinks differently has done no research. Heather Frazier is an intelligent, well informed, compassionate young woman, and this idiot doesn't care that his attitudes, punitive proclamations, and disgusting comments hurt her, her mom, and insult every thinking person.

The young lady that was so eloquent and polite in this article is my daughter. Like any child that was raised with love and respect, she even tried to address Mr. West with respect. It saddens me as a mother to see her bullied, intimated and escorted out of her first interaction as a loving daughter. Mr. West was visibly caught off guard by her question. He had nothing of his own to say. All he could say was "life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness" after she asked him repeatedly about gay rights.

who="Duke", your right, Allen West is the black version of David Duke, after all the NAACP rescinded their invitation to one of the few black members of Congress because of his bigoted statements: heres a few smart guy:

“I’M GOING TO KILL YOU”: Before running for Congress, West had a 22-year career in the military, but left after he abused an Iraqi detainee:“This is it. I’m going to count to five again, and if you don’t give me what I want, I’m going to kill you.” He then fired a shot “a foot” over the detainee’s head.

I AM “THE MODERN-DAY HARRIET TUBMAN”: Speaking with O’Reilly Factor guest host Laura Ingraham in August 2011, West said the Democratic party is a “21st-century plantation.” He added,“So I’m here as the modern-day Harriet Tubman, to kind of lead people on the Underground Railroad, away from that plantation into a sense of sensibility.”

“BLINDLY FOLLOWING A COMMANDER IN CHIEF”: Talking with radio host Mark Levin last month, West said Generals “have to be very careful about blindly following a commander in chief that really does not have the best intent for our military.” What West did not mention was that officers are constitutionally bound to follow the President’s orders unless they are illegal.

Yep, us liberals really put those words in his mouth-what an idiot.
