the fact the she may have received money from a settlement, changes absolutely NOTHING! Those low life apes that did her and her son dirty, still need to be permanently imprisoned and hopefully executed!
I'm not sure what the defense attorneys for the scum are trying to accomplish by digging thru her financial records. It's not like that is going to magically absolve the defendants of guilt!

the animals that raped and humilitaed this mother and son have no money so you know it was not the defendants who paid her. Ultimely te defense has animals for clients and they need to be locked up forever and the defense attorneys need to stay out of the financial business of the victm.

There is no amount of money in the world that can erase the pain and scars left by rape...especially one like this. People should leave her alone!!! the settlement has absolutely nothing to due with bringing those animals to justice. If given the chance, I am sure she would give the $ back in an instant to erase what happened to her. People should be ashamed of themselves for judging the victim!

I am totally amazed at the comments left on this site by the first 4 bloggers. This woman and her son were raped, doused with chemicals, held at gunpoint. Basically, they are scarred for life. Where is the compassion?

If she received a monetary settlement it is owed to her by the housing authority. They had no security whatsoever. I understand, complaints were coming in over the years ... and nothing was done until this incident. I can now only imagine the first 4 comments were from whites. Had it been in their family, the first thing they would do is sue. Freaking idiots I say.
