Defense firms may issue layoff warnings despite U.S. guidance

U.S. defense contractors facing automatic budget cuts at the year-end are still considering issuing layoff notices to employees just before the November 6 elections, even though the Obama administration says such warnings are unnecessary.

Any Colorado condolences coming from the lord marshal b. h. obama are spurious. How is it possible for obama to critique the actions of james holmes when obama’s mentor for years was the infamous terrorist bill ayers? I mean the actions of bill ayers and james holmes are on the same page...only exception, bill ayers has a mile long criminal rap sheet.
America should question b. h. obama's judgment about his long term very close association with bill ayers because when it comes to friends, associates and mentors b. h. obama’s judgment is a disgrace and should disqualify him for making any condolences concerning Colorado, etc.
After all b. h. obama's association with his mentor bill ayers would have prevented him from ever holding any high level security position especially in the White House but thanks to voting fools he got a pass he did not deserve.

The law says at least 60 days prior to layoff date. Companies would be foolish to listen to Obama. They will all get sued by their own employees.

Just like with Obamacare Obama shows his ignorance of how businesses are run. It is not wonder he never created a job in the first place or worked at anything but community organization.

Businesses have to plan, they need certainty. They need to know what their healthcare cost are going to be. They need to know if they are facing large cuts. If Obama ever had anything to do with jobs he would know these things and motivate the democratic senate to pass a budget which would stop these automatic cuts.

Last time the Senate Democrats passed a budget, the only people “occupying” Wall Street worked there, Sarah Palin was Governor of Alaska, Bernie Madoff was a free man, and Tiger Woods was happily married.

The odummy administration will violate any law passed by Congress if that law hurts their reelect goals. In this case, the law (WARN) clearly states that when mass layoffs are planned, that company must give employees a 60 day notice. The labor department basically gave defense contractors a veiled threat…if you want to do business with this government, don’t issued letters of layoff until after the November election. This would leave contractors open to lawsuits by employees, but this thug administration doesn’t care about that.

Odummy retracted parts of the welfare law by issuing a retraction of certain portions of that bill. He is in clear violation of a law passed by Congress. He should be impeached for actions like this.

It is time for a change and the election of an individual who respects the legal processes of the U.S. This idiot and democrats in general only respect what they think the law should be.

The ad accused Romney's former firm Bain Capital of contributing to a woman's death from cancer by laying off her husband. Saul suggested she'd have been covered if she lived in the Bay State. "To that point," stated Saul, "if people had been in Massachusetts, under Gov. Romney's health care plan, they would have had health care."

She was just frustrated in trying to counter an attack ad which is absolutely disgusting. Obama should condemn that ad but his campaign refused to do so when given the chance by reporters.

The things about Romneycare is that the people of Massachusetts are free to try it if they think it will work and obviously they did. they also were free to dump it if it did not work out and try something else, that is one of the reasons they called America the great experiment. However, that freedom was talking away by Obama, Massachusetts is no longer free to try different healthcare systems.

When questioned about the great expierment and what kind of government had been formed by the founding fathers, Benjamin Franklin is said to have answered: "...A REPUBLIC, IF YOU CAN KEEP IT."

If Obama gets his way we will not keep it will instead have a socialist democracy run by mob rule. If he would release his school records we could read it in his own words.
