Just for Lise:
Yes, it is a well known fact that these poor older people begged the younger ones in the congregation for a ride and they absolutely refused to help.
These elderly brainwashed robots had to scrape together whatever money they could on a fixed income to ride in a second rate bus.
Was that better Lise?
Do I get a thumbs up?
good to see that you can speak the truth at times!!

Why are you now making hatful comments towards her you were addressing me right? or is it something in the florida water out there. Please show any post where I say I hate my mother and any post where I act like a snob..........
"Snob" was a typo. Stupid autocorrect.
Anyway, you set a precedence by proclaiming "witnesses" ( meaning a group) don't take care of parents and grandparents.
I felt I was justified by lumping you apostates all together also.
However, you and AuroraMom already proved the apathy you have towards your own parents.

What do you call a bus load of Jehovah's Witnesses at the bottom of the ocean?

A pretty good start!

<quoted text>My oppinion is just that lol...get over yourself...I see how they treat my mother faithful for many years and yes forgotten in their old age...they do more for the elderly in their congregation then the young ones do; it is a discusting and sad truth. I don't think her congregation is the only one like that as I know plenty of elderly jw left to fend for themselves in the KH its a popularity contest at all times..........
Eagleeyes respone to me what this:
If children and grandchildren devote themselves to caring for their parents and grandparents, there will not be any elderly for the congregation to look after. As it is, with so many ungrateful and neglectful children and grandchildren in this world, the congregation can be overburdened.
It is good for all to be as self-sufficient as possible, and most older ones want to get themselves where they need to go on their own, if they can. Charter buses are the perfect answer for those who want to take care of themselves and are able and can afford to. Others can then be cared for by the congregation..........I believe you mean to say eagleeye is hateful as your actually talking about her posted response to me but again you'll work it whatever way you want cause you'll show me how much of a bully you are...

EE was correct.

There are ungrateful children and grandchildren in the world. Unfortunately, some may be witnesses.

Jehovah wants everyone to be self-sufficient as possible.

That is why you will see no soup kitchens, clothing distribution centers, or anything of the sort.

Jesus expects the congregation to reasonably look after one another where one may lack.

Does "jehovah" also want two men to stand around and watch an elder sexually assault a child, to make sure the child is not lying about the assault?
This is what the WBTS instructs Jehovah's Witness, about the made up fictional fairy tale character of "jehovah", who is obviously a pedophile.

When someone say that I take it to mean jw too not in the sense you mean jw are in the world too. For goodness sake I pay for two households due to jw realatives doing zero to contribute. I see this among the jw as frequently as any other religious group.

I see it MORE among JWs, most decent people don't excuse their own selfishness by "jehovah wants us to be self sufficient" like the JWs do.
And what is with that anyway?? Many JWs are on government assistance and hypocritically take any and all military benefits.
So, they only believe in "self-sufficiency" when it comes to them doing anything charitable, BUT they TAKE the charity.
This is typical of Jehovah's Witnesses, and I find that the public is well aware.

After reading through all of your posts, I have to agree to a comment I have long tried to ignore: You people are amongst some of the stupidest that walk the earth. You're actually replying to a post by Jehovah? Do you think if God exists he would have written that himself? Have you been drinking?? People died here. If it was a bus full of rapists and pedophiles I feel there would have been more sympathy. You'all simply disgusting.

So what you are saying is that the god you worship-not the God I worship or the God of the Old or New Testaments- is so bloodthirsty and ready to destroy that he may even change his gameplan and timeline so as to punish someone early? Man your god needs anger management. By the way people become like the god they worship. That is the reason so many Jws are unhappy and nasty-like yourself.
Don't you believe in hellfire and eternal torture of the unsaved in conscious agony? At least when a person is dead, he's dead and feels nothing. But the God you worship would torture the unsaved in conscious agony forever. Regarding that way of torture, is that why so many religions that believe in torture by God in the afterlife enjoy or allow torturing people?

Unless it is a Jehovah's Witness.
Then they can take every handout and freebie they can get their greedy little hands on.
When it comes to Jehovah's Witnesses GIVING back as Jesus taught, then all of a sudden it is a big NO WaY!! The fictional demon of jehovah wants everyone but US to be as self-sufficient as possible.

I'm sorry if this isn't going to seem very helpful to other readers/participants but hmmmmm (I hope that's enough m's), instead pouring out all your bile onto others and perpetuating intollarence, why don't you seek counciling? It sounds like it could be useful in your case - you seem to have a lot of hate you're reflecting onto everything but yourself.
