For nearly two decades Stahon has been painting and posting the greetings

It started out as a surprise for his daughter's 16th birthday

The sweet 16 sign for daughter Lisa Wood, now 25

What am I missing here??? Is that some kind of new math or did you guys screw up yet again???

You are so right. He's different and brings a different perspective to life. May he have many more years for his celebrations.

Something is off here. If it's only been 9 years since her 16th birthday then that isn't "almost two decades". Maybe she's 35 instead of 25? Doesn't matter in the end but it's still an apparent mistake.

Very impressive. The guy could earn some money, but does it as a favor.

Nice guy.

I wonder how high off the ground the platform is? Looks like a cool place to hang out. Barbeque, fresh air, maybe a tv, man this would be the ultimate garage to get away from the nagging wife...Oh I forgot its mother day so I have to do everything she wants today...Happy mothers day.

Good story...

Great story for a change SS.

I do think what this man has done is great but what a sad commentary on being forced to be politically Correct and restraining his religious beliefs, if any, on his signs because of the fear of offending someone.

Either you believe in God or you don't. Why control you right of free speech for fear of offending others.

Got me to wonder if he was afraid to wish a Merry Christmas on his sign of if he felt that was too Religious to comment on ?

Praise God if you believe in him don't hide your feelings. The enemies of religion have no problem speaking their minds why should you keep quiet ?

Happy Mothers Day and Praise be to God.
You can do this too

Yes, it is a good story and yet it is also a reminder that the sunsentinel could make some money if they would have an online editor. The company advertising the signs in the commentary section would probably be happy to get the plug but they could pay a nominal fee for "almost free advertising". Surely there must be some way for links found in any article or posted comment to count towards the eyeballs in the paper.
The newspaper are going to have to DO THIS in order to stay afloat. If the SS keeps slimming down and sacrificing more and more of its writers and editors than it will be nothing more than a rag.
Last by not least, I agree with the prior posters regarding the 2 decades: most likely it might be a typo with the 25 really being 35. But a good online edii

When you build something without permits you should never allow the press to write a story on you. This story is going to have an ugly ending.

I don't even think that man owns the property that the support poles on. The deck is definitely a code violation.

Regardless of all the "code violations" and "religious dispute" I'm glad I finally have a story to the signs I see each time I drive on Southern Blvd.

Thank you.
