You people for Walmart aren't listening to the back hoe going up and down the canal...You people for walmart aren't going to live a few hundred feet from this behemoth of a store. I do, and it stinks. I'd rather the field and trees thank you very much...but hey, money talks. That walmart got originally shot down but yet, here they are...clearing the land.

The US Court does not have to live next to it. What if the court doesn't care if they turn our residential neighborhood into a slum.
And it will ruin the stores at the same intersection that have been there for 30 years such as Pub lix. Loyal businesses that have served this community for many years when there is already a 24 Wall mart 2 minutes down the same road. Why would you need a huge crime and traffic monster right smack in the CENTER of your town?
If they pass it I will be convinced that the court is easier bought than our local council.
HOW WILL WalMart BRING CRIME IN OUR TOWN? It will bring more $$ to those business that surrounds that area. More money for that town! Let's be straight forward.. You think WalMart will bring more BLACKS and where there's BLACKS there's crime, am I right?

I drive past that Walmart construction twice a day almost everyday. The corner of Orange Drive and University is packed enough, imagine adding more traffic. People that want the Walmart are just being inconsiderate. Go down the block on University to Target , go West for less then a mile to Flamingo for another walmart. Having that Walmart is just wrong.
Do you know that NYC , will not allow a Walmart , they believe it will take away from the local business and they just dont want it. Davie sold out on this. Its sad,its making Davie a commercial shopping center. What till all that traffic comes in .. shame

I am so happy that the brand new Walmart will open soon in my community. Their prices are always the lowest compared to other supermarkets. I am pretty sure that I am gonna save lots of money on grocery. Welcome Walmart!

Publix has been ripping us off long enough. I'm tired of hearing oh they been serving the community for 30 years. Publix prices the last few years after driving all the other grocery chains out have gotten outrageous. There is up to a 40% saving on a lot of grocery items. I'm looking forward to having this Walmart open.

I drive by that montrosity everyday, Everyone I work with refuse to even go in it. Im praying it fails, As far as employment, Walmart is very well known for treating their employees like crap. Underpaid and over worked. Pluse tons of part timers. A person can not survive on a Walmart salary, forget about providing for a family. I hate it. Thank goodness Im in west Davie, I feel bad for the people that live in the back. The homes on Pine Island. What a raw deal Davie gave them. Please dont shop at Walmart
