As most know by now, Lifetime Health in Central Square is just about done. Prime Care has leased the building. They will be taking old and new patients and SOME of the older established staff.
Prime Care is going to open on October 4th.
However, at this time I heard they are not accepting Medicare!!!!! Upon further investigating on my own, I did find out that in about a month they will be acccepting Medicare patients. Although no one seems to be aware of this. After leaving several messages I received a call today informing me they were not taking Medicare. That is when my dective work started, so to speak. From an inside source I was told not to worry, Prime Care's medicare papers are in the works...my suggestion is to keep calling to see when this will be so those on medicare can rest easy.
Hope this helps with those who are stressed. If you have any additional information, PLEASE POST HERE.
Best to all,

As one of the patients of Lifetime for many years I presently have no doctor! Lifetime neglected to send me a letter stating that Primecare was moving in to the building and my PA was going to Primecare. When called for an appointment I was informed I had to find a new doctor who would take Medicare.
The other day I called Primecare only to hear no, we are not accepting medicare and they had no idea when they would. BUT according to someone at Lifetime ( who is still open ) Primecare is said to be getting Medicare coverage in Nov. WHO IS RIGHT? Does anyone know the correct answer?

Primecare will be accepting Medicare. I called Keitha and she told me that Medicare papers were pending but they in fact already scheduling medicare patients starting November. She told me to go to a website and this did say the same thing.
I also found out that Primecare did not lease the entire building but only part of the building. Dr. Finger also started seeing patients the other day I was told.

Thanks Randy. I was told that they will be accepting Medicare BUT they will be selecting who ( from the previous patients ) they will select. Evidentally the head doctor is one from Oswego don't remember his name but it did start with an M.
Who knows what the right answer is now to be honest. I am on the 'list' but do have to wonder.
I've found a fantastic PA in Parish and I must say they are super awesome up there and not far from where I live. All updates are great, thanks again.

I am so happy to have Dr. Koss back in Central Square. He sure is an excellent doctor. I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Finger and the other medical providers in Central Square either. Hope this group can keep all of them in town.

I have been seeing Claudia Krider for a long time and love her. Never met Dr. Koss. Deep down I hope they contact me to come back. Guess we'll have to wait and see. When you are so used to going to a place for care to move and readjust ( which I suppose I can do ) it's not easy. At my age change does not come easy lol. So, I'll wait and see what happens.
Thanks for taking the time to leave a post I really did appreciate the link, that was so great :)
