Agreed. The only reason why this isn't done in other States is that we've been invaded by a bunch of traitorous, treasonous criminals who don't actually care about the rights of people. When governments commit crimes, the simpletons sit back and accept it as if the government can do whatever it wants with supposed impunity. So pathetic.
At least Jindal is stepping in the right direction.
I'm for getting rid of any "permits" and letting people simply carry because...*it's their right to do so... PERIOD!*
Do I need a "freedom of speech" permit on me when I speak out against the government? No. Nor should I ever. It's MY RIGHT! Rights don't need PERMITS. PRIVILEGES need permits. Huge difference.
Do I need a "freedom to protest" permit? No! Nor should I ever. It's MY RIGHT, not mere privilege!
And so on.
Hopefully more will wake up to this and push to get rid of these stupid, criminal, tyrannical "permits" designed to keep tabs on citizens by fascist governments to begin with, and now being used and abused to infringe upon citizens' right to privacy and safety! Amazing.
Doesn't Vermont have no concealed carry permit? I'd have to look it up again.
