There goes the neighborhood!! More tax hikes?

Since our tax base in going down even further and no business wants to move here. Do we still give out these big raises to teachers? Where is all this money going to come from if all the people are leaving West Mifflin?

Since the thief son in law of Poopie the ex chief is outta town ( no longer a cop in West Mifflin) profits have soared 110%. Seems like they can keep regular priced shirts on the the store shelves now and make a profit.

Let's go after the senior citizens. They can eat Alpo. I say pawn off their hearing aids, canes, potty chairs, seeing eye dogs, crutches, wheelchairs, take their Social Security checks away from them. Let's treat them with honor and respect. Tax them more. They will give up these luxuries
so the teachers can get their raises. Where's all that casino money going that was suppose to go to lower our taxes or even pay for them all? I see Zappala and Matta peeking out from behind the slot machines.

What I would like to know is what is our borough council doing to bring business into West Mifflin? Are they actively looking for new business or industry to move in? I see lots and lots of empty buildings all over town? Does anybody know?

Maybe we can have one of the cops sit by the Salvation Army and shoot at them if they try and leave. I will take him some extra shells if he needs them.

I do live in West Mifflin, this website chose my residence as Corapolis, as I am sure with all the others that say they live elsewhere. It's a serious question regardless if the report is a year old or not. What is our borough council doing to bring in new business? Is Fisher Body going to sit there forever empty? Aren't there other manufacturers out there that could use that building? And if it is not councils job to promote us, whose job is it? Legitimate questions!

E-GADS!!! LIONS, TIGERS, AND BEARS WHY O' WHY IS OUR MALL CLOSING!!! WHERE O' WHERE SHALL I SHOP!!! E-GADS AGAIN!! Ok, I got a bit dramatic there, lol. I did stop in at Century today and the Hallmark store is now closing up. What perplexes me the most is that the stores that one would think would have no business are the ones that are staying in business. I can't figure that one out. All that I can say is that you should have seen Century III in it's hayday. What a place to shop back then!! Here is some Century III history: Who remembers the old full service Mellon Bank right in the center of the mall right outside of the American Eagle store? Who remembers when Donnie and Marie, the Brady Bunch, and Richard Simmons perform on the "old stage" that was in front of Kaufmann's. Who remembers the old leather high back booths in the original foodcourt before the foodcourt was remodeled in the 90's. How about the bright red carpeting that was once in the mall?
