Devine is a joke! The place is clean and the people are very nice, but the food is AWFUL! I don't know why they didn't just call it soul food. Everything has so much sugar in it that you can't ear it. And the tea is like syrup on ice. I didn't have the heart to complain because they are so nice. I just left the food. And the prices are high also. I wish them luck but they've got to cut back on the sugar.

If it's soul food and in a neighborhood that I would go to by myself I'll be paying them a visit tomorrow afternoon.

I love their food and I think that it is worth the money. The tea is awesome it is sweet like good southern tea is supposed to be. Now Medeas on Missouri is nasty they NEVER have what they say they are going to have on the menu and what they do have looks like its just ben thrown together

Me and the wife ate there a week ago, and it was excellent and it's no more expense than Applebees or some other chain place and I'd much rather support a local business

I heard they towed cars during the Easter egg hunt.

Yep, when people park in front of the signs that say parking for the restaurant only, and you park in front of the signs, I dont blame them for towing.

When we were eating in there, people going to basketball games just pulled up in front of the signs and walked toward the Boys Club like they owned the world.

Yes they did have peoples cars towed!!! I was parked in there lot and I did not see the sign but I moved it when I heared them say they was going to tow them... But I still fell they was wrong for doing that... it was not like they was so BUSY that they needed to parking lot for them...

This was a event for EASTER AND FOR SMALL CHILDERN!!! they was very wrong!!

SO??

They pay rent for the building and part of that rent is parking. If the business customers cant park in the lot, then the business cant make money.. How is that wrong??

Because self centered people parked in a lot that is clearly marked, it's the businesses fault for towing illegally parked cars???

That's whats wrong with society, no personal responsibility

No compassion for morals is what's wrong. Why don't you just phase every activity for kids out, that's why they grow up as thugs. Granny's front porch and mokas let them park. I mean geez it was over by 1115. I bet they would have had a lot of service afterwards if it werent for that!

No compassion for morals??

What lesson to self absorbed parents teach a kid that they can just ignore the rules?? That signs dont apply to them? It's ok to blame someone else for your stupidity? Dont worry billy, it says you cant steal but that a dumb rule.. No, I'm sorry, the very reason kids grow up at thugs are because PARENTS DONT TEACH THEM PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY

And if you believe they would have had lot of service afterward, you are delusional. No one who parked on that lot has ever had any intention of eating at that place.

Well we ate there last week and it took four try's to get clean silverware! I think that wash by hand and not a dishwasher. All the silverware they brought out had spots or food particles on them! For the price they charge I would think they would have all the modern appliances. Almost 40.00 for two sorry meals.

The food that we got was good. We used to eat at Granny's (way back in the day) and you can't go here expecting granny's prices--they are more comparable to chain restaurant prices. About 7 for lunch and 13 for dinner. The staff was incredibly friendly, though, and the place feels clean and fresh.

Im just glad my son heard them say they was going to tow them if they was not moved...

It would help if they posted on both sides of the pole because I did not see the sign from where I parked. just saying!!

We was hungry and was going to eat there but not after they did that.. to a handicap person at that but I just wish everyone would have heard them say they was going to tow if not moved!!
