I don't blame Jessie for not wanting to stay in West Memphis. This town did do him wrong. Everyone is moving out of this town. Soon there will be nothing left or anyone left but pure trash and government suckers.

Well this lets every one know that there are lots and lots of folks locked up for crimes they didn't do. Something that make you go umm.

It is just a crying shame that our justice would send a boy to deathrow with no evidence. They could not find any evidence trying the boys to the scene. No bloody clothes, nothing! I pray for those boys(I guess I should say men ) and the justice system, because some day, it could be any one of us.

While I agree its a shame and I'm glad they got out since they apparently did not commit this crime, I'm also well aware that these young men were locked up from a young age and there's no telling the things they went through during those 18 years. I pray they seek help to cope with being on the outside again.

He was neither invited nor welcome.Would you want to celebrate being released from prison with the knucklehead that got you sent there in the first place?

I don't understand why your race is relevant, I never heard anything about race during this. Did I miss something? Or are you just saying how screwed up people are when usually support/non-support is in direct relation to the perpetrator's ethnic background? I mean this sincerely, not aggressively, just trying to understand your racial statement.

Jessie comes off as the most sympathetic figure in this whole mess.
It was sort of funny that during the post release interview when asked if they were concerned for their safety in West Memphis, Jessie was the only one to speak up. And the way he did it showed Jessie is a realist.
Jessie is truly a "good ol southern boy"
He comes off as a survivor, even in the documentary when he was a mere 17 years old.
I hope he can break the cycle of poverty and ignorance that seem to prevail in West Memphis and wish him good luck in Florida or whereever he goes.
BUT, he does need to get out of this area. The image of this town may have been painted with a tainted brush during the documentary, but I notice the most enflamed and ignorant postings on this forum board about this crime and injustice come from those who LIVE in the area.
This is truly a backwards place.

Does Damien and Jason not realize what happened to Jessie during questioning? Do they not realize he had a lower iq? I think the police took advantage of Jessie

Someone else posted the comment that all the back and forth in the world will not change the results of this entire tragedy and that is quite true.
This case has been discussed ad nauseum and the defenders and detractors can argue infinitely, this doesn't change the outcome of three young boys murdered and three young men spending half their life in prison under dubious circumstances.
THE ACCUSED ARE FREE!
My hope is they can lead productive lives and the mystery of this case is resolved once and for all.

This is truly an American tragedy for ALL involved.

I think you are mistaken, none of the WM3 had anything to do with the murders.
Back to the original topic of Jessie missing the party, http://wm3org.typepad.com/blog/2011/08/its-be... . check out how humble Jessie is. Everyone else is partying at a fancy hotel, Jessie is mowing the yard.

Think about this for a minute.

Weather they did it or not, they will become mega rich and or famous.

If they did it, it was like an 18 year vacation, bang, free , and here comes the money.

If they did not do it, it was still like an 18 year vacation, and again, BANG!!!! FREE!!!! Here comes the money.

They will make more money than most of us will make in our lifetimes.
