This MacMillin Realtor lady is a Real Dreamer , of course she isn't making money now , so what can you expect . Last year it was a different tune probably , telling sellers she can get any outrageous price for them ,now she tells sellers there prices are too high and they have to drop alot to sell and at the same time she is trying to convince buyers that houses now are a Big Bargain . I don't think anybody is buying all that BS anymore from the Realtors. Besides the Speculators , the Realtors , with all there hype, were 2nd place , for causing the housing boom ( they drove prices up like crazy too }, that will eventually hurt a lot of people financially .

Thank the good Lord for my 5.75% fixed rate! I'll be ok till the dust clears :) My neighborhood is still selling for more/ sq. ft. than we paid last summer, but it is one of the only affordable areas for common working stiffs (cops, teachers, firemen, service professionals, etc.) Meanwhile the politicians and realtors all live high on the hog in homes now worth over $350K!

Good to hear from you again , I was hoping you didn't get it from a big Wave or something thats bites in the Water. You'll never have a problem , you got a great rate and your in a Great price range, in a good area . A lady friend of mine who managed my condo for me , from St. Cloud , she also has her own Real Estate Co , anyway the other day she told me , thats houses up to around $230,000 are still selling, but not real fast . She said anything over that is not moving good at all and the $300,000 to $600,000+ are just sitting there , even after big price reductions. She said they got Property Tax Shock over there now , and there putting fees up a couple hundred percent , and adding all kinds of new Fees , she said that is starting to have a big effect now too. So your in good shape , you did the right thing at the right time. Do you live in the 32935 Zip area , that a pretty nice area in general from what I know . I was looking at houses there off of Fountainhead , around there. Some of West Melbourne looked nice too , but it looked like a lot of Frame houses there . Anyway , Glad you didn't get chewed up .

Hey John. Yeah, been alot of waves and not so much time for web-surfing lately! We live up against the north side of the airport east of Fountainhead, nice quiet neighborhood with low crime. All my neighbors been here since dirt, nice and friendly. Ironically, my parents' first rental was only a couple blocks away on Sioux Avenue when I was just a wee bit!

Well good to hear from you again . Ya I agree , that " Home Sales Slumping" is a terrible and depressing Chat Room now , I don't bother much with it anymore either. "Just been working and Surfing" , well the Surfing part sounds like fun , I never tried surfing , I'd probably kill myself trying. When I went to school in los Angeles , I used to go up the coast sometimes and watch them Surf , it looked real exciting. I was always into Cars a little more, when I was younger I raced Late Model Modified Stock Cars for a few years , that was fun but you spent a lot of time ( and Money ) fixing and etc on the car for the next race all the time. well anyway , good to hear from you and glad you didn't get sucked into a big wave or something . Merry Christmas !

Surf , How ya doing ? I was in Melbourne 2 weeks ago , stayed on Rouen Ave . Had a good time , stayed for a week . Flew Delta down there and landed in your airport , nice Airport , it was fast too , when we left we were the only flight in the airport and went through security real fast , was really nice. got a chance to check out the area, went to Melbourne Beach , Cocoa beach , and other places. Had a real nice time .
