hhgregg is a new entry into the consumer electronics business ....they are based out of indy
naturally ex circuit customers will shop there as well as best buy customers .
circuit city is closed.

best buy is going to open a series of small mall stores to sell cell phones and their own korean brands of tvs and appliances.
After working at Shack, Circuit, and Best buy , I can give you this advice....

Pick out whatever it is you want in the store

Get the model number and look it up on the internet. print out the prices from the internet... go back to the store and ask then if they will price match them....

if not walk away...

there isnt anything in any store here that i cant buy online at a nice discount.

When youre in those stores look around...
You will see their stock dwindle after the grand opening.
That should be enough of an incentive to shop online.
The people that walk into those stores dont
know enuf about those products to know the difference anyway .

Welcome to the future of electronic retailing lolololo

Incidentally it is against state law for them to sell extended service plans on any elctronics products without a state license.

we bought a sony bravia tv fromm hhgregg on december 5, 2008. we wrote a check and paid for the tv . on december 24th we called the store and told them about our problem .there was a black line all the way across the screen.

we were informed that hgregg did not have to honor sony's 30 day exchange policy.

we called sony and sony confirmed that sony had a 30 day exchange policy. that did not matter to hhgregg.we were told that they were not going to honor this because it was not there policy.

i would think twice before buying anything from this store again. after the ten days of warranty they want to repair what you bought for new. that is not much, this is the worst customer service that i have ever received
